You see choosing a religion is like a philosophical equation. Judaism can be written off by Christians because of the existence and teachings of Jesus. After he died Christianity was born replacing Judaism because he is the Messiah. Also I have a Jewish friend who believes in Jesus, he just keeps Jewish tradition.

Actually it was adopted from pagan traditions. Everybody knows that... and that Jesus was born some time in the spring. But that doesn't discredit Christianity to the very least. It just means that the pagans which converted to Christianity kept some of there traditions. As for the movie Zeitgeist, I've seen it... twice, because the first and second were essentially the same. I am not affiliated with the catholic church. I am Orthodox.. we don't change rules as the catholics do. The only reason the catholic church had no problem with the racist views is because it was fed into the peoples minds that jews were the least evolved people. So discarding them would help humanity. Also I believe if any body is Satan in this world it's the pope. I wouldn't be surprised if he started another genocide. Revelations speaks of the perversion of a major church.... It's Catholic.

The reformation was made at that time because Jesus Christ walked the Earth. That is different then the everyday changes the pope makes to the Bible. God wished for change and so we gave it to him best we could, plain and simple.

I didn't attempt to change the subject, nor did I ignore it. How do you ignore something like the crusades? Or the Salem which trials? Or the ongoing wars fought around the world in the name of religion? I acknowledge that these things have happened and that some people who call themselves Christians do a lot of bad in this world. But then something else I acknowledge is that those who break the commandments for whatever reason are not true Christians and shouldn't be called such.

Constantine killed Christians who didn't believe in the precisely same scripture as the church forced on people.
Constantine actually had to have a debate with all other theologians to decide which scripture went in to the bible because there were so many scriptures that were being read.
