This is I guess the way the few folks who know this tune first heard it back in the 1980s. And from the other versions peoples have put on Youtubes, it is clear that MH played it on at least minus 4. Its much slower and heavier. And therefore better in my book. Once you get that imprint in your brain, you don't want to hear it at a different pitch.

Totally agree! This was how I first heard it, on Max Headroom in 86/87. Sounds much better!
The little "golf ball" hitting Phillip's head is brilliant.
