Harry begins to get frantic. He knows there's only so much time before this permanent change happens, where Hermione falls in love with Ron against her will. And if the love onbly goes one way, it's not as powerful, so eventually Harry would slip into love with Ginny as well, permanently separating Harry and Hermione. He fights harder, always being understanding of Hermione's "possession spasms", hugging her even if she's hugging Ron.

She begins to have "possession spasms", where --- for brief periods of time --- she is possessed by JKR. This causes her to hug Ron, or hold his hand, without having the slightest idea as to what she's doing. It's like a trance. Sometimes it's complete, sometimes she's strong enough to pull herself out of it after a few minutes. They only last about two hours at a time, but still --- they could get longer and longer until she's taken away from Harry forever.

He tries to refuse her, and his love for Hermione is so unbelievably strong that he is able to hold her off. He continues to be with Hermione without the interference of liking Ginny. As your creator, she has you under her control. But as Harry and Hermione grow up together, they fall in love. There's nothing JKR wrote against that until she decided that Ron/Hermione-Harry/Ginny would be the couples in HP6, so she couldn't do anything about it. So Harry and Hermione are head over heels for each other, and want to stay together. Then JKR starts writing HP6. She claims Harry should be liking Ginny.

anny8491, you are totally and completely officially one of my favorite videomakers ever. This is one of the most interesting video concepts I have ever seen. The only change I would make --- since I can't stand the idea of Hermione having "more-than-friendship" feelings for Ron (hate book ending) --- would be that Hermione doesen't REALLY try to get together with Ron. That when you're a creation of JKR, she has control over your fate and emotions.

I have to agree. The films draw more attention to Harry and Hermione then Ron to Hermione or Harry to Ginny.

It's is all wrong. Now maybe in the books Ron works better with Hermione and Ginny with Harry, I do not know. I think though that Harry's and Hermione's relationship seemed a lot more passionate and real then Ron and Hermione. It is surely a disappointment that they did not end up together.
