@vicehoundelite Nobody, I believe that was the lakers playing on that court because i'm pretty sure I saw a young kobe in that clip you're talking about near the basket at the end.
This is where he made a name for himself. The Hornets were the best. Alonzo, Baron, Mashburn. Not superstars by any means but they all ended up being legends. R.I.P Hornets
I was at the game when he dunked on Garnett. Saw BD in Carolina Place mall just a few days later shopping with his girl. I was in line behind him, and had to give him props for jamming it down KG's throat, he just replied with a modest "thanks man."
I remember going to a Hornets VS. Bullets game at the USAir Arena and seeing Muggsy Bogues and Gheorghe Mureşan playing and being amazed at the height difference. Unfortunately the Bullets got whooped . Also, I wish the Hornets would bring back the court with the honeycomb key. One of the best courts ever!!!
I miss the old charlotte coliseum, that was the sweetest court design ever (1998-2002). I even liked the Bobcats court there better than the one they have now. Can't believe they tore that place down.
Charlotte Hornets 4ever!!!! players i will always remember (glen rice, baron davis, dell curry, p.j. brown, and david wesley. I wish they hadn't moved at all in da first place.
I miss the damn HORNETS!!! I live in NC and I was fortunate enough to go to a few games as a youngin. I have fucking Charlotte Hornets bed sheets I been using for ten years LOL. Room is filled with Hornet stuff.I miss them damn jerseys. And that damn court.
I was at that game as well. It may've been my personal favorite sports moment in Charlotte (that I saw live anyway).
I'm with the rest of you guys. I miss MY Hornets so much. It hurts everytime I think about it. I support the Bobcats even interned with them but it's not the same magic that the Bugs had.
You got that right! I miss them SO MUCH! I don't support the Bobcats like i did the Hornets. They were my team. I was so heartbroken when they moved. I loved their purple and teal colors.
baron davis was the first cp3

@DavoBirmingham B-Duddy, Stevie Franchiseless, Steph-on Druuuugz. All cityboy shitheads who didn't stand the test of time, unlike David Brown.
