  • One thing that puzzles us about this movie is the character Mears. If we're hearing the soundtrack correctly, the old priest says to him around the movie's midpoint: " . . . You're only 15." Is the audience supposed to accept that men in their 30s and older would allow a mere 15-year-old to lead them in a revolt? And if that be the case, isn't the actor Preston Foster miscast as Mears? Foster looks way older than 15, appearing to be at least in his 30s. Can anyone enlighten us on this?

  • @blacsouljah He didn't say 15... he said fatigued (tired)...why don't you go to sleep!

  • @TheWanderinMinstrel

    Thank you.

  • For the record, Sing Sing executions typically took place on Thursdays at 11:00 P.M.

  • Good film. 4.5 *****

Ending was not provocative nor ironic. Basic. But good suspense.
