  • Where do Mormon tithes go if you don't have a paid clergy? Moreover, how are Mormons able to run congregations with only part time volunteers?

  • @trilobright Tithing goes to building and furnishing temples and churches all over the world, to relief efforts, to provide for the poor, to publish books and magazines, and a few other Church-sponsored projects, such as schools, libraries and museums.

  • As if Mormons could be made simpler.

  • I find this video disapointing. Should have showed what Testimony meeting might be like, incase they happed to show up on one of those.

I remember when we had sunday school first , then you went home for a while and came back for sacrament meeting oy~veh what a long day. Then growing up , I learned the skillfull art of how to duck out on meetings.

  • The simple truth is that Mormons believe - when you get down to the heart of it - that they will become gods. That is the antithesis of Christianity.

  • @aigledemasyaf Christ taught that we must be made perfect "Even as you Father in Heaven is perfect". That's just one example. The Bible has many references indicating that in the next life we'll continue to progress eternally. Just because other Churches don't see it, doesn't mean it's not "Christian".

  • I hate mormons because they lie and hurt people in gods name ! A very disgusting people

  • The Gospel.

Gospel means good news. We are all sinners who deserve to go to hell … but…

Jesus Christ died for you. He paid the penalty for your sins when he died on the cross.

He was buried and rose again making eternal life in heaven a free gift.

If you want to go to heaven you must simply believe in Jesus for this free gift.

    John 3:16.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  • I wish I had seen this before I went to stay with a mormon family when I was an exchange student. I would simply have stayed at home, and slept in on sundays. (Which I did by november anyway, and made all of them resent me.) I found their service unbeliveable, tedious, hypocritical; and collective crying of joy/sadness etc etc sure felt like brainwashing to me.

  • Can someone ask a question during this overly structured, passive, service which must become very mundane and leaves NO room for God's Holy Spirit to be active, heard, or to move about. But, can a person who actually live 20 minutes from this hill in Palmyra NY, can i ask why there's no ruins or any rements to show a history besides J' Smith, or why this mornnie turned many white people

into dark skin people making dark skined people sinful? Why not it's your history?

  • The donation plate isn't passed around because people pay a large percentage of their paycheck...LOL.

  • @larsulrich3356 a large percant you scum you stupid scum its ten percant not that large so shut up

  • @larsulrich3356 not a large percentage, only 10% :)

  • What kind of underwear should I wear? Do they check?

What if I want to stand and yell Hallelujah?

  • @vidguy007 only if u follow ur Hallelujah with ¨Praise to the Prophet¨, u´ll be ok then. lol

  • holy cow dude,,, AWESOME! you could not have done a better job and simplifying this day of church... ne one have any questions? It's that simple... it really is...

  • Mormons are fucked...but not quite as bad as Scientologists...

  • Mormon dress code= Jesus would not be welcome in the mormon compound.

  • @BasicInsB4LvingEarth

He would, because He owns it.

Also, visitors are welcome in casual clothing. The dress code is a suggestion, not a requirement.

  • thats so ironic because i live in sunnyvale rofl

  • The back and forth with you fellas... Hilarious!

  • We do not persecute, I can assure you. I know the spirit is with you, and I hope God will deliver you from the bitterness that bounds you. I know God loves you and he will bring you to his kingdom. You can say anything you wish to try and hurt me but I love you even more because we are all brothers and sisters!. God Bless my friend!

  • Bread and WATER? Seriously? I realize you're Mormons, but Jesus was not, and so he drank wine.

  • @trilobright Fresh wine was the drink at that time and water was not always sanitary for drinking, but what is used for the sacrament is not so important as to the fact that it is done. Old wine was not to be used because it was too strong.

  • I'm Catholic, and I know every religion is false besides Catholicism but I still like Mormons. They are very nice people.

  • They are not. They hate people, especially gay people. Gay people are beautiful.

  • You are an idiot. No wonder the world is such a mess with idiots like you running around.

  • @JosephStalin11

    Discover Eastern Orthodox Christianity :)

  • @jwwindsor: go to hell and get raped by satan!

  • I hate mormons. It's a false religion started by an egomaniac false prophet. Rot in hell mormon bitches.

  • @jwwindsor Sorry, I can't go to hell... restraining order.

  • You're already there.

  • @jwwindsor Try doing some good and nice for someone. It makes you feel A LOT better than surfing youtube and cursing at people.

  • Oh right, idiots like you don't get it and never will. Get lost, take your stupid mormon garbage and die.

  • @jwwindsor Brother Windsor, I will pray for you. I hope you are a dedicated Christian that follows in Christ, I know that being a Latter Day Saint for me has brought me closer to Heavenly Father and Christ. I hope your judgement is without contempt or hate. I ask you read the Book of Mormon, read the Gospel in the Bible. Latter Day Saints are loving and respectful people and we are also very tolerant. May the Lord be with you in all of your days!

  • Don't pray for me. I am not interested. Mormons are a vile cult that seeks to hurt gay people. May you rot in hell for your evil actions. As for Jesus, he was neither a republican or a mormon, so you have no grounds to use him in your vicious religion. Unfortunately, you are a deluded person who can't face reality. As for me I do good in my life without the vile useless vanity of religious cults.

  • @jwwindsor Read BrotherDeWalt's last post and then read your own last post and tell me which sounds more vile and hateful.

  • @JackNimble61 Listen, maybe you were one of those creeps who seek to annihilate the right for gay people to get married if they chose to do so. If so, you have nothing to lecture anybody on, your group is nothing but an excuse for a nazi state dedicated to killing off gay people. Tell your stupid church you're gay and see how they treat you, then you can talk about Brother DeWalt's attitude and the rest of the stinking mormon church's attitude of hate toward you.

  • @jwwindsor My friend, I highly encourage you to speak with other latter day saints!. If you do not believe our doctrine, thats okay!. We do not judge. I know this is true through prayer. I have felt the holy spirit in my life so much!.

  • @BrotherDeWalt Oh come on, you do not judge..... now you are playing games. The mormon church is an enormous hate machine using witch hunts to destroy gay people wherever they are. You are in a lot of denial. Pray for yourself, you need it more than anybody, because your naivety and ignorance is horrible. The only holy spirit you feel is the comfort of not knowing how truly hateful your church is to others.

  • @jwwindsor I will respond to this comment but will reply to both!. Our church is very tolerant and loving. Just go to a chapel. I believe truly you will find your home. I do not judge homosexuals. I personally am not a homosexual and I know our church makes a stand against it, but we have the right to. My brother, Christ loves you and I know God loves you. You are my brother in God, God Bless.

  • @BrotherDeWalt "but we have the right to" and with that comment you justify the german government of Adolph Hitler had a right to kill jews, because it was a government decision. You're really pathetic, filled with both love and hate. I don't want to know you, I don't want to know your stupid church either. As for Christ loves me, how do you know, did your stupid church tell you that too. Do you even have a brain or you just some Pollyanna with the ignorant comments. Go away, your ridiculous.

  • @BrotherDeWalt "WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO" I am sure Adolph Hitler said the same thing as he murdered millions of people. You are sick. I don't want to know you. You think because you go to church you have the right to persecute others. You are sick. I hope your stupid church gets the same result as Adolph Hitler, every mormon church bombed to smithereens. Don't write back, I am not interested in your phony Pollyanna goody two shoes feely good church bullshit. Your just a german waiting for Hitler.

  • @jwwindsor But we do not my friend!. I know at some point the spirit will come into your life and guide you. God has a plan for you, a plan of salvation and I just think thats wonderful that he does!. I know he does for me. I know you do not like me but I like you because your are a brother in god, as am I!. You can choose not to follow our church, but at least follow in some church!. God Bless!

  • @BrotherDeWalt After your "but we have a right to" I have nothing more to say to you. You don't have a right to persecute me, and your stupid church does not have a right to persecute gay people. So get lost, I am not interested in playing your game. And you are not my brother. And I have no interest in people like you who think they have a right to persecute others. Go away, and stop with the phony goody two shoes bullshit. You don't have a right to do anything hateful to anyone. Go away.

  • @BrotherDeWalt Because of your ignornce, I suggest you tell other mormons you are gay and see how they like that. But then you are probably too cowardly to risk upsetting your pathetic mormon life with things that they do not want to hear. Live your lie and believe your lie. Hitler also told everyone God supported him as well, and he deluded many.

  • The Mormon Church is a mixture of Free Masonry, the occult, and Christianity. It is the invention of hell and was delivered through a narcissistic pervert & false prophet named Joseph Smith who had opened himself up to demonic activity through his longtime involvement with the occult.

  • No collection plate but a dress code of dick clothes. Hmmmm.

  • Hehe, this is cute. One exception is that the dress code on Sunday is considered "semi-formal", not "formal". So you don't have to wear a tuxedo or a prom dress. :)

  • What an awful crappy church. Nothing but hate mongers. The stupid church did not even support the EQUAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT.

Joseph Smith is in hell where he belongs.

  • Can we all stop bible bashing please? This video is simply explaining our worship service, and should not be seen as a place for such contention.

  • Good video. Mormons are cool. I like the truth I like mormons

  • Comment removed

  • @pmoyer50 Those "crazy offshoot sects" are the real Mormons who hold to the official teachings of Joseph Smith! They refer tot he Salt Lake City Mormons as the "Greatest Whore on Earth" becasue fo their constant compromise.

  • I've been to an lds church twice now, first time i had jeans, a button shirt and some skate shoes lol I didn't realize that everyone had ties until the 2nd time i went where i managed to have everything right but shoes and tie still.

  • @NovaPulse

u r always welcome regardless of the tie, etc. :D

  • @NovaPulse That is totally alright. You could show up in jeans and a sweatshirt and you would still be welcome. You WILL stand out as a visitor dressed in sweats, but if that doesn't bother you it's not really a big deal. The "big deal" is the manner of spirit you come in, not the clothing. :) All are welcome to worship and learn more about the Plan of Happiness. :)

  • Thanks for sharing this video :)

  • @USAConservative2012 We are not going to agree on many subject. I am not going to change your mind and you are not going to change my mind. Let us agree to disagree. Have a wonderful life.

  • @USAConservative2012 Does not say to punish or judge. You are adding to the scriptures.

  • @USAConservative2012 God does not warn us of everything that is going to happen. Does that mean that every thing that happens to people of old and of today will be warn before it happens. I am sure that in old times there were many things that happened that was not revealed by a prophet.

  • @USAConservative2012 Eph. 2:20 , Eph 3:5, Eph 4:10-12, There were prophets before Jesus was born and when he lived Heavenly Father spoke through Jesus. Jesus is no longer on earth and he has appointed prophets today again. Take care.

  • @USAConservative2012 I say that you are completely and totally wrong. Heb 1 does say that God spoke spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, but no where does it say that he WILL not continually talk today to his prophets. Why would he stop talking to us today? He does speck to us by his son and he and his son still speak to the prophets. Amos 3:7 "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servant(s) the prophets." Do you think he has stopped talking?

  • @USAConservative2012 Jesus is no longer on the earth ( physically). It does not say anywhere that after Jesus had been crucified and the Bible went into print that God has stopped talking. It is necessary to have constant revelations from our Heavenly Father. The Lord knows that WE need just as much as the people of old needed a prophet. The prophets of old did indeed testify that the Lord would be born. There are people today that do not know of Jesus as the Savior. Prophets are necessary.

  • @USAConservative2012 Why should there not be prophets today? If at any time the world needed a prophet it is now with the way things are. It says in Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servant(s) the prophets. Thomas S. Monson is indeed a prophet of God. Seems hard for people to believe there are people living in their own day and time, but there is one today.

  • Definitely the most boring church sevice I have ever attended. Man! it was painful!

  • No wine?

  • Oh and pay 10% of your salary each month...funny thats about the only thing they take seriously out of the old testament.

  • The Mormons are so deceived... hope they'll understand once and for all:

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!" - Galatians 1:8

  • i read the book of morman and i think its a bunch of shit. i mean seirouly who belives this stuff. joesph smith and brigham young were gay with each other and desided to write a book of crap

  • Come on humanity, it's the 21st century. It's time for us to shed the obsolete institution of religion and progress as a species. I honestly have no idea how anybody could possibly take religion, Mormonism in particular, seriously considering that science has provided explanations for most of what humanity has historically attributed to "God." The information is out there, all you have to do is develop critical thinking skills and start reading.

  • i like how everyone is white :) oh, white jesus.

  • So glad I'm a true Christian. Mormons say they follow the bible, but I don't recall anything about Jesus being from the planet kolob, just saying.

  • @16goarmy The mormons love mocking Jesus Christ thats why they seem to enjoy talking about how he lives on some screwball planet

  • @chainsticks88 the problem with that is...

    we don't.

    so yeah.

  • @CheyenneJoy Uhhh mormonism is a different gospel that gal 1:8 warned us about. gal 1:8 describes what the bom is. another angel with another gospel that is cursed.

moroni and the bom which as the word "another" on the front of it. you mormons have a cursed gospel.. SO YEAH!!!

  • @chainsticks88 okay, go ahead and believe that.

but you completely ignored the fact that you can't back up the statement that we don't mock jesus christ. sorry, hun. i think you ought to actually look into what we believe before you say anything.

  • @CheyenneJoy Really???? look it up its a known fact that the LDS aka lucifers demonic servants mock Jesus

  • They are then given the title of "Elder," which isn't an indication of age, but title of position within the Church. The missionaries themselves do not choose where they are to serve, however.

  • If a Mormon decides to go on mission, he must first be deemed worthy by the LDS bishop of the area, who holds him accountable to the tenets of the LDS faith. If they are approved, they will receive a personal letter from the president of the church in Salt Lake City, and be assigned to any of the 350 LDS mission fields around the globe.

  • The LDS church has more than 55,000 college-age missionaries on the field at any given time. As part of their doctrine, they are expected, but not required, to be on mission for two full years. They pay their way out of pocket for the extent of the mission. Most decide to interrupt their studies, so many of them - like Batt and Simons - are not actually college students.

  • Book of Mormon:

Fictional people mentioned in a fabricated story made a non-existent journey to some vague geographical area where they formed enormous nations, fought massive wars in undisclosed locations, wrote contradictory records in an unknown language and subsequently disappeared without leaving a single shred of evidence they ever existed.

    Bible:

Real people? in real locations, provable history, comprehensive archaeological support.

We can visit Jerusalem. Mormons can't find Bountiful.

  • @martlut You forgot to mention that the Mormons were founded by a 14 year old boy who had a dream (yeah, they call it a vision or something else) after a long day in the fields. Yet they believed him and the great lie was started. At one point they even believed in one man marrying more than one woman in order to increase the procreation factor. Also, at one point in time, the Mormons WERE extremely racist and did not accept all people being created equal despite the FACT that it IS in the Bible

  • Its so nice someone made a video so you won't have to think at all.

  • "Also, expect to be judged, picked apart, and inquired as to your life story. When somebody preaches, it is expected that no accurate historical accounts will be referenced, save those that have been modified and canonized by the church's bureaucracy. You are expected to obey the leaders without ever questioning their authority, and to accept everything you hear as truth, as witnessed by the Hoy Ghost, i.e. self-induced subconscious floods of endocrine secretions. Oh, and fear satan."

  • @MorrisonEnterprise sounds like they will have a seamless transition into hell! at least according to someone i enjoy listening to! she is known as america's best christian!

  • @MorrisonEnterprise You got that right! I still remember drifting around in my late teens and finding my way into one of their "temples" on a dreary Sunday morning. Ooppss! When I dared to question ANYTHING I was immediately rebuked and told to keep silent! At the end they wanted to know EVERYTHING about me and almost condemned me to hell for being ignorant of their cult! When I wanted to discuss ANYTHING I was firmly commanded to learn and remember my place in society. Yeah, they respect women!

  • When I was a mormon we had sacrament and the bread was Wonder bread. NOT uleavened bread. Real "bread was unleavened because leavened bread resembles SIN. In Matthew 26:26 Do you think Jesus was refering to his body as sin? .

  • The Promised Land usually isn't a place; it is found wherever an individual is at the moment.

"While we naturally look out to the horizon and plan for and work toward a future day, it is found in the way we live each day, confront each challenge, and move forward with faith," Elder Clayton said. "There is no such thing as finally arriving anywhere in life, for life extends on ahead of us with a constantly receding horizon, offering us both new opportunities and new trials."

  • @omiolo um, "elder clayton"...? My response...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  • @cjeb2003 thanks for spending time on my comment.

  • Blessed in all things usually does not mean blessed with all things," he said. "(It) means we will have sufficient resources for our needs and even some of our desires. But more importantly, it means that as a result of our sincere striving and earnest efforts, we will be blessed."

  • Keep in mind, a visitor isn't expected to take the sacrament, but can if he or she wants to.

  • This is SO CLEVER! Great job, guys! Thanks for making the effort!

  • So glad I'm not mormon.

  • @KronicPain I am not LDS but I've been having missionaries over for almost two years. Of course they want me baptized and I have been sharing with them also. What is interesting is that there is much more in common than we think. Its been interesting to talk all that out. Of course priesthood authority and the restoration is where we get stuck in our conversations but most Gospel principles are very much the same. I suppose that is because truth is truth!

  • @KronicPain ditto

  • @KronicPain you don't like being smart and happy?

  • @KronicPain Why??

  • @KronicPain Are you going to Heaven?

  • @Domodeath I don't know. I leave that up to God. NOT some cult or sect seeking to control its members like the Mormons do!

  • @cjeb2003 Friend, if I may call you that... my intention is not so you join any church nor pray the rosary often, my intention is that you are saved by the Lord Jesus, so that his love will abide in you and that you will not parish but have ever lasting life

  • @Domodeath I have been saved by the salvation of Our Lord Jesus Christ through His death on the Cross for my sins. But a cult that distorts the Truth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, twists the word of the Holy Bible and literally (God knoweth how) judges and condemns people to Hell for not following the distorted dream of a 14 year old child? Nope. Not getting my vote. My God is one of Love, Compassion and Understanding. NOT fear, vanity and superiority! Mormons and protestant cults need to know this

  • @KronicPain how come ur glad ur not mormon?

  • Fucked up ugly church. Hateful people. Joseph Smith was psycotic.

  • Creative visual. I would emphasize that attendance at an LDS meeting can be a welcoming, inspiring, uplifting experience.

  • not to mention the interviews they conduct behind the scenes, Who did John the Baptist interview ?,, this church is of Satan ! formal dress ?,,, this church even try to dictate what a person wears, it's called control !

  • @freetube1to1 We still love you if you don't ever come. Or even if you hate us, just know when you die, you can't stop us from baptizing you

  • @shortchick287 I don't hate you it's your doctrine that makes me sick with disgust, but hey! we are warned against people like you .and if your church still wants to occupy you in fruitless acts in a temple made with hands in the middle of 12 beasts of the field, then at least your not out polluting the world around as you usually do !, may my Shepard be a light to you also in this darkened world of lifeless branches ready to be cut off and placed into the eternal lake of Fire,

  • @freetube1to1 first of all fuck off! you dont have any right to condemn anybody to hell under ANY circumstances you leave that up to the lord,i am so sick of you evangelical fundies acting like they are the greatest people on the planet, what an ignorant scum bucket you are,but you will be in alot more trouble for the people you are judgeing so go ahead,it is so-called:"christians" that give off a bad name to christianity,i dont hate you i just hate it when people like you are ignorant.

  • @solarflare311 James 3:7,8 says, "For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison."

  • @freetube1to1 really what makes you say that???

  • @solarflare311 Jesus promised, "But ye shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you...(Acts 1:8)." The power had to do with the tongue in particular as we learn in Acts 1:8 which says, "...and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." When the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, the first object on earth that it used was the tongue!

  • @solarflare311 ok first of all I don't know why freetube was quoting James 3:7 as backup for the statement about Pentecost and God using the tongue but I am pretty sure the intent was not to condemn anyone to hell. Not that I think this opinion is all that solid. I think what they are saying is that because of pentecost = people should talk in church.....not sure. The vid was explaining you don't need to talk in a sacrament meeting and they were trying to say that wasn't right. Narrow thinking.

  • This video is awsome, maybe you could make some one in spanish, i would like to use whith my non members friends!!

  • @luiurbina

    Mormons are racists, fact.

  • @livgren1967 lol just ignore the service they provide to all races around the world daily

outdated mormon teachings are racist, fact

  • Can't wait! I'm gonna do it! I really admire the LDS church. I hope to one day join.

  • Members of the congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dacula recently donated more than 200 dresses, skirts and blouses to Partnership Against Domestic Violence. The organization serves women and children trying to escape abusive relationships through its 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelters, parenting groups, children and youth programs, supportive housing, legal advocacy, support groups and other programs and initiatives.

  • @omiolo Too bad they didn't spend a little more money building houses instead of building temples with gold statues on top eh? Sounds like their priorities are whack!

  • @windigo77 LDS do a LOT. It is our religion that inspires us to constantly help others. To attempt to eliminate one would definitely harm the other.

  • @omiolo A LOT isn't enough to justify building temples with gold statues on top.... I still see homeless people!

  • @omiolo Building a temple with golden statues on top, while others are homeless and/or starving in the street is a bit like making yourself a cake, when there are still starving guests to feed. It's quite rude, if you ask me!

  • @omiolo It makes me think of the age old saying, "Let them eat cake", but in this case it's: Servant: "Queen, our people are homeless!", Queen: "Let them have temples! - but they can't live in them.... and they have to be worthy... and clean... and not homeless..."

  • @windigo77 Judas used this same type of philosophy before he betrayed Jesus Christ.

  • @omiolo uh what? Judas built temples instead of homes for the homeless? I Think your losing it...

  • @windigo77 I can see why a person of your intellect would draw that conclusion.

  • Oh I'm sorry @omiolo where I come from people communicate instead of quoting meaningless scripture. You done?

  • @windigo77 "meaningless scripture"

    NO such thing!

  • @omiolo you don't think the part that describes how to cleanse a house of mold is meaningless? Or what about the process of buying and selling slaves? Do they have a personal meaning to you?

  • @windigo77 "Do they have a personal meaning to you?"

do you care or is this ANOTHER attempt for you to strike back?

  • @omiolo It's a serious question! You say I should follow the teachings in the bible, so why shouldn't I stone people who work on sunday? After all Jesus said that if you break any of these laws, you will be lesser in heaven. So according to Jesus and the Bible, if I don't stone my disobedient daughter, or anybody who works on sunday, I will be lesser in heaven!

If you don't believe in the old testament, why is it still hanging around?

  • Each week as we partake of the sacrament, we covenant and promise that we are willing to take upon us the name of Christ, always remember Him, and keep His commandments. If we are willing to do so, we are promised that most wonderful blessing—that His Spirit will always be with us

  • @omiolo Yeah, you partake of the FLESH AND BLOOD of another human, you dirty cannibal. Symbolic or not, it's still disgusting, and I have yet to hear an excuse that can justify the consumption of human flesh and human blood as it relates to the sacrifice of jesus.

  • Just as President George Albert Smith had to account to his grandfather for what he had done with his name, someday each one of us will have to account to our Savior, Jesus Christ, for what we have done with His name.

  • @omiolo That's why I don't do anything in Jesus' name. It would be presumptuous to say that I speak for Jesus, just as it is presumptuous for you to say that you, (or your religion alone) speaks for him. I thought your religion taught humility, but that behavior is THE VERY DEFINITION of Arrogance.

  • Heavenly Father loves us so much that He has given His only Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ loves us so much that He gave His life in atonement for our sins!

What are we willing to give to be clean and receive that joy?

  • @omiolo Sorry, I don't believe in 'atonement'. I also don't believe in 'human sacrifice', 'animal sacrifice', 'virgin sacrifice', etc. I don't believe in a God that demands that I have a scape goat (be it a goat who is left to die in the desert, or a man crucified on a cross). Sorry, I'm not into human sacrifice.

  • @windigo77 "Sorry, I don't believe in 'atonement'"

    and so?

  • “When I was 15 years old, I often felt that there were too many rules and commandments. I wasn’t sure that a normal, fun-loving teenager could enjoy life with so many restrictions. Furthermore, the many hours spent working on my father’s ranch were seriously dipping into my time with my friends.

  • “This particular summer, one of my jobs was to ensure that the cows grazing on the mountain pasture did not break through the fence and get into the wheat field. A cow grazing on the growing wheat can bloat, causing suffocation and death.

  • @windigo77 ". I also don't believe in 'human sacrifice'"

tell that to Japan and their Fukushima Fifty.

  • @omiolo Why? Do the Fukushima Fifty regularly kill those who don't believe in human sacrifice or something?

  • According to a news release from the center, Stela 5 contains complex imagery that researchers have identified as human figures, animals, botanical and inanimate objects, and deity masks. Different scholars have speculated that the stone records a creation myth, a "fantastic visual myth" and a "quasi-historical scene.". . .

  • This is the sort of paradox that confronts fans of Mormon faith who have decided to tag along for BYU's run through the NCAA tournament. A city known for the bars and strip clubs of Bourbon Street and the wild parties of Mardi Gras will this week .

  • @windigo77

You are arguing with a known Mormon lunatic who wastes half his life on YouTube.

You'd do better teaching your cat to speak Greek.

His posts are all over the place and every one is random, a bizarre mix of 'holy' talk and utter drivel.

He is the best example of Mormonism's effect on the human mind.

    You have been warned!

  • @thesignsoflife7 "You are arguing with a known Mormon lunatic"

is that your way of saying YOU are tired of looking STUPID?

  • @thesignsoflife7 "You are arguing with a known Mormon lunatic who wastes half his life on YouTube."

"His posts are all over the place..."

And you know this how? How do you know it's half his life? How do you know it's a waste? And since you "know" this, you too must spend an equal amount of time here as well running from LDS video to LDS video obsessing over something you hate. He shares about something he loves. You rant about something you hate.

Sounds like YOU are the one with serious issues.

  • @JackNimble61

    Foolish blind Mormon.

Look around a little bit. Omolio has so many meaningless posts scattered around YT it's impossible to miss him.

    Look above these comments.

He's spend months sitting in his basement copy pasting this drivel.

  • @thesignsoflife7 i love @omiolo, he would make a great ex-mormon any time, i mean he gets bombarded with so much truth deep inside he´s gonna have 2 accept he´s been wrong all along.

  • “And it came to pass that I beheld a tree, whose fruit was desirable to make one happy.

“And it came to pass that I did go forth and partake of the fruit thereof; and I beheld that it was most sweet, above all that I ever before tasted. Yea, and I beheld that the fruit thereof was white, to exceed all the whiteness that I had ever seen.

  • “And as I partook of the fruit thereof it filled my soul with exceedingly great joy.”

Dear brethren and sisters, stay strong and make good choices that will allow you to eat the fruit of the tree of life. If, for any reason, you have erred or left the path, our hand is extended and we say to you, “Come. There is hope. We love you, and we want to help you be happy.”

  • Our parameters must be: * • This I will do because it is right, it comes from the Lord, and it will bring me happiness. * • This I will not do because it will drag me away from truth, from the Lord, and from the eternal happiness He promises to the faithful and obedient.

  • Since the Father knew we would make wrong choices, He, in His wonderful plan of love, provided a Savior of the world to atone for the sins of all those who repent; who come to Him looking for help, consolation, and forgiveness; and who are willing to take upon them His name, Jesus Christ.

  • Go to handonrip home page and after you read it in it's entity and you are a thinking person, you will never take him seriously.

  • What if you're poor and don't have the clothes that meets the Mormon's dress code?

  • @rohag735 This comment is just plain ignorant or intentionally deceptive. Either way you should be ashamed of yourself.

  • @ArizonaDesertPiper, I think my comment is very legitimate. I don't have anything to be ashamed of. As a matter of fact, I think the Mormon church should be ashamed of themselves.

A few things to keep in mind. The dress code is generally formal. Women wear dresses or skirts. Men wear slacks and a dress shirt, often with a tie.

That might be a requirement with the Mormon church, but I think Jesus would welcome anyone who wants to sit at his table. I'm not so sure about Joseph Smith.

  • @rohag735 All are welcome in the meetings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I think you know that. I personally dress nicely to show respect and to honor my Father in Heaven and do not apologize for that.

  • @rohag735 then just come in your nicest attire, its ok I've had friends who just come in dark or black levi pants and a sweater or button up shirt. Just remember its only to show respect.
