A book that I was looking through this week had the Maltese ring made a little different. There were 2 stitches between and you took the ring off and flipped the work in between ring/chain shuttles. I think either works, but I loved that it put the picots on opposite sides from the start.

@BookandCandle Yes, there is another way of making the MR (that I know of). Please check video #91 - I hope I did a good job of explaining how to do it! :)
