In 1974/75/ or 78 I was in London and witnessed an exquistely maudlin television program (of which I caught only the tail end) which seemed to feature a "farewell" of some kind to none other than 'Leapy Lee', who pranced about & sang "Little Arrows" through his tears and was wildly applauded by the audience who were also in tears. I don't know whether it was HIS show signing off or what, but as someone with absolutely NO culture reference to him, it was morbidly fascinating.

@okikocay - I watched Leapy perform in Beverly Hills Club Los Cristianos on Tuesday and he was fabulous!!! He still has a good voice and he related his life story in between songs. He goes to perform in Tenerife at that resort every Tuesday fortnightly. Thoroughly enjoyed his performance!!!
