sry for my comment i feel bad, do u read like that on purpose?, my brother talks really slow, he has a speech impediment, but hes really smart, but i couldnt understand what u were sayin much it was so halting, jus being honest, maybe i dont have attention span for, jus was rlly rlly slow
I Just got Lifelike yesterday and this was one of my favorite bits of the book.. It was sad, but real.. Obviously it's been a while, but did you ever hear from her? Thanks for signing the back :) Zoe xx
Hi Zoe. Great to hear you received Lifelike and like this piece.. :) Yeah, I did talk to Stella a few weeks later. Didn't really change much if I remember and we're not in touch now.
It's well traveled. :) I'm really happy it got here safely.
It's a shame that people drift apart but we're all guilty of it sometimes I think..
Another little bit i loved was 010219 Dreams. The girl in the picture is stunning, She reminds me of Kirsten Dunst, The Text is also beautiful and true. I love reading about your thoughts, you're very insightful.
Psssttt. it is Kirsten Dunst. :) If my zine was ever picked up by a major publisher, I'd probably have to change the image.. along with the one of Scarlett.
If i listed all the bits i liked, it'd basicly be the whole thing, but those stood out for me.
Thanks for taking the time to reply to my comments. :) But don't worry this will be my last one! It's 2:27am and i'm gonna finally get around to watching Ghost in the Shell which i've been meaning to do for literally 3 or 4 years now. Where does the time go?! :D Take Care, Zoe xx
i posted a video response i dont know if you need to accept or what, my first vid response on youtube! dono how it works let me know ghostwise. thanks mitch.
Oh, yeah and the ending was sweet, very tender, gentle... and the shadows moving across the wall in the background... Beautiful. Time passing by... wow. ... too bad for Miss Stella. Girl should have rung.
The shadows have me mesmerized. It's the intense reflection off a car as it drives by, hence the movement. So it's actually not a long time lapse. :) Real time.
In hindsight, I'm happy Stella wasn't there or had rung. It was all lust and misguided on my part. She taught me a good lesson or two .. probably inadvertently.
So lovely. I like this story, poignant, very real and honest. It's something so universal, yet so few people have the heart to share their thoughts about these moments in life. Loved hearing this read by you. I send you hugs, Brother Chris. Mitakuye Oyasin.
:) Yes, yes, yes. :) Thank you. hugs back. I really only did one take for this video. Almost don't like it because it is sad.. but so it goes, it is worthwhile.
PS I couldn't translate Mitakuye Oyasin.. :( not even with Google.
Keep on keepin on was one of Joe Dirt's(A movie in case you didn't know) sayings, so I said the life's a garden, which was another quote from the movie Joe Dirt. But I think your quote makes a bit more sense.
sorry guyz!!will find a bloody body in you closet hauting you and will kill you and ur family if you dont send this to 6 videos in 30 mins good luck!

no worries. i don't read like that on purpose, it's just the best i can do. my lungs are weak so my vocal delivery is halting and quiet like that.
in some videos i edit the audio so that there are less gaps between my syllables but in this video i left it natural.
i definitely don't expect everyone to have the patience to listen to my videos so i understand that you had trouble listening to it.

ne1 seen the video Salad fingers, he speaks a lot like him, its creeping me out
Cannabinoidl 3 years ago
i don't really sound like Salad Fingers... maybe it's the slowness overall that is similar but aside from that not really.

Mitakuye Oyasin. Lakota Sioux... "All my relations" It's a prayer speaking to the oneness and interconnectedness of all of life.

No wonder! I was trying Japanese to English translations :). Mmmm. Mitakuye Oyasin.

Hey Chris! Loved the reading. Is it all from real experiences?
callmetc 4 years ago
Yes, all my writing from Lifelike is real experiences.. unless I state it's a dream but even that is a sort of real experience. :)
Nice to know you loved it. :)

interesting expression.. almost feels like there's a word missing. "Life's a garden, dig in!" maybe?
ghostwise 4 years ago
Keep on keepin on was one of Joe Dirt's(A movie in case you didn't know) sayings, so I said the life's a garden, which was another quote from the movie Joe Dirt. But I think your quote makes a bit more sense.

Well, maybe one day I'll make an audio book of my own writings.. don't know about reading other people's work.

Hah! I assumed Joe Dirt was from the 70's but turns out it's a David Spade film from 2001. I'm not sure I'd like it. :P
