Makes me wonder why don't they use nuclear powered gas turbines to create a vortex of conical shaped hot air flow to prevent ice & frost from forming in the entire mining area. In Bilibino we did such a thing in a particular place but on an experimental basis but it is successful. They should also place flexible metal pipes perforated wt holes in the coastal area to allow hot air to maintain an ice free pathway for ships, conductive concrete roads must be used to prevent ice and snow formations.
