I love the outcome of the hair style, it's gorgeous and all, but is it okay to run the iron over and over again through the hair? I was thinking it'd apply alot of damage. Maybe the iron is built so it could be used a couple times on a section before it cools down? I dont know, but again, you two are gorgeous!

you could use a heat spray. I use tresemme`s thermal creations heat tamer spray. it works really well and leaves a nice shine as well

she straightened it the day before she went to the event.

eventually as hours pass, hair doesn't stay straight for to long.

he turns wavy.

the next day, it turns back to its normal style, curly.

Yeah, cute style but not the same. Actually what could achieve the "wavy" look on many different hair textures, without the use of heat, is to put hair into "nubian knots" (called various different things though) while the hair is damp & when hair is dry, you can finger style it, it will be a wave and not a curl. apply smoothing product either on the damp hair or afterwards doing the finger styling, depends on what you want.

or a larger barrel iron pulling downwards would work, but Vanessa's hair is sort of messy and wavy. I like the cute tutorial and the resulting style is nice though.

they did mention that the longer your hair is the more it will look like vanessa's hair. renren's hair isn't that long so the curls stay tight and don't become loose. the longer your hair the looser the curls usually, depending on your hair...
