Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of the few games that teaches a valuable lesson these days... about us, as humans, and where we are headed as a species. By constantly improving ourselves with technological advances, do we slowly ascend into the realm of perfection? Or do we destroy who we really are, as human beings? Are we meant for great things; meant for perfection? Or should we accept our flaws and embrace them? For these flaws make us what we are: human.
When i saw the trailer for the first time i cried...i flet my tear roll down my face and was amazed..i played the game, the background music, sounds effects, background noises work fluidly..best game ive played so far...
@L00K3R4 It is the song that is on the start menu and it appears several times throughout the game, I believe when you reach Hengsha, when you're flown into the city.
I never asked for this. She was lost to me. If you want to make enemies, try to change something. I'll never stop looking. They cannot stop us. They cannot stop the future.
I thought gaming industry is going to hell... that sequels cannot reach the original title quality... with this game, even after playing only press release, I was wrong
@dan2563 Gaming industrie isn't going to hell... okey, maby a bit less (illigal) downloads would be better for them but they 'lose' a lot of money?? Nah, they just can't make the good games as before (because it was a new style etc.), it's hard to not copy yourself or your concurrent...
better animations and graphics but invisible war had a great impact on me its what made me luv the series and the original so if this as good or better ill be fuckin happy
im fuckin excited invisible war was the beast but with stealth kills double kills better weapons abilities being able to play a prequel new character awsum music this will be the beast 2
thumbs up if cod and battlefeild will get shit on by this game
@HotaruZoku lol, just watch. this is a watered down version of Deus Ex for the modern gaming market. it'll be a good game but nowhere near the freedom the first game allowed us. I especially love that "three ways to play" gameplay vid. lol, bullshit.
@mtcw2790 I agree with your sentiment regarding the "ways to play". Strikes me as...overly buzz-wordish to even bring up, let alone offer as a selling point. Honestly, if a game isn't designed well enough for the target audience to figure out "ways to play" of dev design, let alone their OWN, then I remain doubtful about it's design in general.
If your basing the idea of it falling flat off teasers and walk throughes alone, right on.
I'll sustain an open mind until I've at least played it.
@mtcw2790 The game hasn't even been out yet and you say it's not going to have the fucking freedom the first one had, LOL, what a dumbass, wait till august and play it before making stupid statements.
@BlackLionFilms you actually think you can sell a game like the original Deus Ex in today's market? no, they're bringing it to consoles and they're going to streamline it, there's no other way to get sales.
@mtcw2790 Idk the Beta played like the original. Only thing I didn't like was the forced first boss but other then that it was pretty great. I toggled off the objective locators and highlighting and unbound my cover key.
@mtcw2790 your not saying anything anyone dosen't already know but I give the dev team props for porting basically the same PC UI control setup I re mapped the cover button and replaced with the pick up button and it was like I was playing Deus Ex again. This game will be better than Deus Ex Invisible War hands down.
@Boxsloth I see things another way. I don't think it's about tearing people away from anything. People play what they play because that's what they enjoy. It's not about "converting", it's just giving the "Deus Ex"-ish crowd what -they- enjoy, which hasen't happened since the first one.
I know you don't mean it that way, but the statement is indicivitve of all that's screwed up with gaming development now days. People trying to "convert" others, instead of satisfying an existing audiance.
@HotaruZoku Yes!, and there is another game like this comming, visualy looks more like the original Deus Ex, and that is goood!!!, is called Hard Reset, and looks like a good game, I think is fps/rpg and cyberpunk of course.
I've never been looking forward for a game or got excited while waiting for it.. but this one..... if the trailer doesn't promise too much it's going to be the best interactive action-drama ever.
the rising note of the song reminds me of Heavy Rain's Main Theme. Two great games.

@HotaruZoku The genre was defined ten years ago. This may resurrect it, if people can tear themselves away from Modern Warfare long enough to bother.
