She sounded VERY GOOD on this song BUT----Why in hell would you pick THIS SONG to sing on AMERICAN IDOL???? This is not the talent show in the hood; American Idol is for conservative songs that have a crossover appeal with a showstopping type of quality, not ghetto anthems. It would be like singing Heard it all Before by Sunshine Anderson on American Idol!!! LOL LOL NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's not bad, but "Hit 'Em Up Style" is just one of those songs that you simply do NOT sing on Idol. I don't want to sound like Randy.....but...these kinds of songs are just too stylized and were tailored to fit the original performer. Blu Cantrell has a distinct sound.
