  • @RaYlEtTeHaRdY He comes before me. Come = Cum. A bit of sexual innuendo for you there.

  • @RaYlEtTeHaRdY i feel like it has something to do with monica lewinskys dress incident

  • @RaYlEtTeHaRdY "he comes before me ..."

  • @RaYlEtTeHaRdY They edit it, but he had an erection that showed through the skirt.

  • @RaYlEtTeHaRdY It's a pun that Hamlet "came." It's a reference to the Monica Lewinsky dress.

  • The funny thing is at 04:15 he really does look and sound like an old man lmao

  • lol this is the best way to learn a Shakespeare play

  • spotlight fail xD

  • One of the guards isn't Horatio...Fransisco leaves....Horatio comes later.

    "a COUCH!"

  • @kogarocks12 lol!! iv been quoting that since i was 6 :P

  • "AH AH AH AH WEEH!" LMAO!

  • ridiculous....

  • The ironic thing is, although this version is reduced and jokingly "modern" in it's references/choreography, the tone/atmosphere is much more similar in tone/action/slapstick to what the play would've been like in Shakespeare's time, when it was performed for the crowds in the Globe, then most modern productions. The ad-libbing, the interaction with the audience, the coming out of character, the jokes, and the puns, not to mention the women dressed as men!

  • @jo123phoebe i think u mean men dressed as women

  • @lephong oops! yes, of course lol!

  • @jo123phoebe men dressed as women you mean?

  • THE PLACE:...Denmark.

THE TIME:.....a very long time ago!

  • This is brilliant, hilarioius and a great way of introducing people to the essentials of Shakespeare.

  • "fraility! thy name is WOMAN!........ yea you" ROFL

  • Love their meeting handshake :P

    This is VERY strange :P

  • this is complete nonsense... but it is funny tooXD

  • i'd like to watch to royal one with toby stephens!!

  • @Rosamorrable ...Huh? What about Toby? I can't help but zoom in on any mention of him--it happens when he's the love of your life, lol. ;-)

But on a RSC Hamlet-related note, this is definitely the best version ever. (The Arnold Schwarzenegger one is pretty close though) I never saw a more terrifying ghost than the sock puppet. ;)

  • @femmederochester Oh i see you're his beloved madame Rochester;) I must say he's fantastically splendid in Jane Eyre. Im dying to see the RSC Hamlet and Streetcar named desire by him. But i just might not because the last one was performed long ago... and Hamlet is not easisy accessible here. Toby is an incredible actor!!!

  • That is the cheapest ghost I've ever seen :)

  • God XD Any1 tried the caption translation? It's HILARIOUS

  • @IrisOsirI i did hahahahaha

  • @IrisOsirI hahah omg RSC is HILARIOUS! I love them especially the Othello Rap. the captions are so weird lol.. they talk about stimulus plans and Clinton haha

  • I know this is a stupid question but was he actually upset about them laughing or was that supposed to happen? Again, I know it's a stupid question it just seemed really real...

  • @flyingfatcat525 That's supposed to happen. xD

  • @flyingfatcat525 When it looks that real, it just shows how good these guys are at what they do. (:

  • "neither a borrower, nor a lender, be." *nod* that's my favorite line!

  • without really thinking about it, i insert all their lines into the real play! like, i was expecting hamlet to tell horatio to piss off then slap him afterwords haha.

  • break we our watch up! oh man this is too much

  • DENMARK ! >:[ ( insider xD )

  • Poor Adam. :) They should get women in the company.

  • "Let not the royal bed of Denmark become a couch for incest!"

    "Incest!"

    "A couch!" ... *smack*

  • pretty funny but not the source im looking for

  • @benitesw321 worked for me. I got a A.

  • lol, i love how they shortened polonius' long pointless speach to just one line... "neither a borrower, nor a lender, be."

  • @Celtore1324 thats why I freakin love these guys. Their humor is awesome like that.

  • why is every one in this play wering all star converse

  • @lissettetamez2 Because they're awesome, and they're the RSC.

  • It is a play about all of Shakespeare's pieces in an abridged version. It is written to entertain modern day audience members with his works, so they probably did it to connect with the audience members.

  • my son asked this question on my account...lol I explained this to him. He's reading Hamlet and I thought he'd love this...as he watched all four vids he was laughing and totally enjoyed it all. the sock ghost was his favorite! Next time I have him watch something educational I'll have him log into his account. =o)

  • Why not?

  • @lissettetamez2

Because it is your clue that something is not quite right. For those who are a little slow.

  • ty for uploading this

  • that was polonius

  • my favorite part: "neither a borrower nor a lender, be...." LoL

unexpected since Laertese wasn't even there :D

way to cut that long ass speach that basically means that (: wootWoot

  • @Medlr8

Although some of the meaning is lost by shortening it. But agreed nothing for the common man to be concerned with ;).

  • wow that moment where he does the speech about man...its really well done mad love for the actor! the whole place was silent!

  • 4:53

  • You can't help but respect Adam when he delivers the "What a piece of work is man..." speech. That whole theater was silent for a reason. Even in normal speech, he makes it powerful and moving.

  • @TakeruSTakomi

I agree! I think Adam was sort of showing that, even though they are comedic actors, he can still act.

  • Comment removed

  • its amazing how austin can refrain from laughing while he gets pissed off at the crowd for laughing .haha

But on a more related note, this is epic! 8D

  • cool

  • he comes before me :)

time: a very long time ago xD

  • Love Ophelia's part! "He comes before me." "I'd keep that dress, if I we're you!" It's like an Elizabethan version of Sex & The City.

  • I asolutely love Hamlet's personality.

  • 1:13 - I want to be able to do this in life.

  • whee!
