The ironic thing is, although this version is reduced and jokingly "modern" in it's references/choreography, the tone/atmosphere is much more similar in tone/action/slapstick to what the play would've been like in Shakespeare's time, when it was performed for the crowds in the Globe, then most modern productions. The ad-libbing, the interaction with the audience, the coming out of character, the jokes, and the puns, not to mention the women dressed as men!

It is a play about all of Shakespeare's pieces in an abridged version. It is written to entertain modern day audience members with his works, so they probably did it to connect with the audience members.

He's reading Hamlet and I thought he'd love this...as he watched all four vids he was laughing and totally enjoyed it all. the sock ghost was his favorite!
