I don't believe your windshield solar cell is enough to generate enough current for your motor. If those are dye-sensitized solar cells, their efficiency is for sure less than 13%. Even the commercial 30% efficiency Si-based solar cells needs a larger surface area than what you have on your vehicle to drive a motor. So in sum, your vehicle runs on battery and the solar cells (if those really ARE solar cells) assists in reducing the drain.

Kin; use two wheels in front, one rear drive, it's more efficient. All parties are building Induction Generators now to replace Batteries, big solar arrays, and Ultracaps. The good thing about building one of these is it is NEW KIND of LIGHT Vehicle! All others around the world have failed, either from too much useless weight or no room for Induction Generators (E-scooters, etc.) Induction Drive is like petaling bike to charge Bat., but 100times & straight into controller-drives vehicle.
