How come you didn't use ツバメガエシ on the RHOD with the R32? Does it just not work with a heavy, understeer-prone car like the R32?

yes thats correct. Machine gun shifting (mgs) and feint drift are the terms to what he's using I believe. The quick change of gears with the feint to get the card slding b4 getting into a turn

For your second question about the 5th gear. I would think it get him around the corner faster with out losering so much speed then in 4th gear.Just my opinion.
