@DoctorHAXx64 The stars are just a texture applied to a sky object, and for the "cloudy stuff" i'm going to assume you meant the cloud texture on the earth. I just applied a texture to another sphere with a cloud image in the alpha filter on the texture options.

Nice, try adding the moon's color map to the diffusion layer and set the mix strentgth to 50% for maximum awesomeness.

@TheSnipaKid That was done in after effects. If you wanted that to change I would either have to upload the AE project file or you download the C4D project file and make your own animation.

this is pretty good! dunno if you did any tutorials or not, but I've been thinking about doing a space scene myself. Just wish I was better with the particle system in 3DS Max. I did notice one blunder in your video though. The sun rays would shine on screen even though it was behind the earth. simple masking in after effects would fix that!

@TheFretgod The sun raise was done in cinema 4D using their light engine, I wasn't sure how allow the rays to extend round the earth in cinema 4D. It was very simple to do, just adding planet textures to spheres and adding a star field to the background layer.
