Well the bill is still in the writing process. But you can go to many non-partisan (which I recommend) to see what's in the 1200 pages so far. Actually what we need is a Democratic White House Administration and a Republican/Conservative controlled Congress. That formula, which is what we had in the nineties, seemed to work best.

I didn't support either stimulus, neither Obama's nor Bush's (which was mostly pushed through by House and Senate Demokrauts). That part of the constitution does not say our presidents should not openly practice Christianity or any other religion for that matter. That part of the constitution protects religion from the government. You liberals interpret the constitution, when it is not up for interpretation, for it reads very clearly. Look it up.
The constitutional seperation of church and state is there to ensure that a church such as the Catholic or Anglican can not take over our government and to protect us from religious perecution. This does not mean that the Government cant support faith based organization or include religious words in documents. If you want to take it so litterally, then we have to annull all mariages, since marriage has ALWAYS been religious, even before christianity.
While most people get married in some form of hours of worship such as a church, marriage is not a religious institution. What about those who get married at City Hall? People who are not religious get married all the time. I don't think I really get your point.

Okay, first of all, it McCain who said that the job of the Vice President was to be ready to be President on day one. Palin was sadly lacking in that regard. Well the bill is still in the writing process. But you can go to many non-partisan (which I recommend) to see what's in the 1200 pages so far. I actually like to wait to see the bill when its going to be voted on. We are too reactionary to every little thing. Most of the time to what is not true. Sarah Palin isn't free from that. She needs to read more about this country and focus on all the stuff she doesn't know.

Well look at it this way, if you go back and take a lot at our great Presidents, none of them really did anything to hump up and down about. It was after they became President when they did remarkable things. Keep in mind President Obama was a Legislator. A policy wonk, not the most exciting aspect of government. Its not like he was a Governor or Mayor where you can really put your finger on something. But does that mean he doesn't know how government works. Absolutely not.

I remember watching Tom Brokaw on some show, just before the election, saying he didn't know how Obama would govern because they knew so little about him and his policies. I didn't support either stimulus, neither Obama's nor Bush's (which was mostly pushed through by House and Senate Demokrauts). As I recall, what brought us to the brink of disaster was the Community Reinvestment Act, passed by race-peddling liberal peons such as yourself under the guise of "racial equality". The separation of church and state generally refers to the government not being allowed to control religious rights, such as the persecutions witnessed in Britain, by some our people that colonized here. That part of the constitution does not say our presidents should not openly practice Christianity or any other religion for that matter. That part of the constitution protects religion from the government. You liberals interpret the constitution, when it is not up for interpretation, for it reads very clearly. Look it up.

The constitutional seperation of church and state is there to ensure that a church such as the Catholic or Anglican can not take over our government and to protect us from religious perecution. This does not mean that the Government cant support faith based organization or include religious words in documents. If you want to take it so litterally, then we have to annull all mariages, since marriage has ALWAYS been religious, even before christianity.

martyc410......it is up to the govt to spend now ($787B stimulus bill)....businesses are not spending b/c of limited credit b/c of the wall street sub prime fiasco....consumers are not spending b/c of layoffs & low consumer confidence...so that leaves it up to the govt to spend with the stimulus bill.
