Always found this boss simple, I died first time reading his patterns but once you know them its hard to lose, apart from when he shoots a medium and high bubble at once, thats hard to dodge
Is this easier with Proto Man? With the slide, he could avoid the 22nd and 23rd balls launched. I get hit by those two nearly every single time, since I keep forgetting where to jump as Mega Man.
The slide definitely helps, but it's evened out by the fact that you can make a whole lot less mistakes as Proto Man since he takes double damage. Still, learning the pattern of the slimes isn't hard, and once you get it down you can easily do this boss without taking a single point of damage.
@Overhazard It's easy if you walk towards the lower orb to jump over the 19th towards the middle of the stage, then over #20 and #21 towards the higher orb, then over the 22nd. It takes a little bit of practise and some timing, but it's fairly easy if you got the pattern down.
How does Protoman make twice the damage? He has the shield, So why does he take damage.
