This whole debate about the essence of existence is getting old. It is what it is and is equally what you make of it. This is great and all, except for one thing. You don't NEED to work with the idea that life sucks, because IT DOESN'T. It is neither a happy place nor a sad place. you are pretty cool, and pretty smart. I see lots of byron katie showing thru your words. its nice. Detachment is really nice. Also I realize that the suffering that I feel is also relishable. isn't that funny? :) When we separate from it a little bit then it becomes relishable... but when we're too close, then it's like we're stuck in the nightmare. it's all so delicious isnt' it? we love problems. but too much fear then it becomes too much.

I like this video, BUT...@ the same time, LIFE only sucks because PEOPLE want it to. ADD TO THAT..the POWER that runs this world OWNS US and they are the ones who program society to think stupid, eat stupid and THEY profit off of ILLNESS and DEATH.
This place was meant to be a PARADISE (ie: Cannabis), BUT...WE gave our power away by stupidity to THEM and now we suffer.

But dude, who wants to be unhappy ??? We say happiness is the key to life for a reason : because thats true !!!! Who wants to be negative ? You get such a better outcome of life being happy !!! I'm happy, and its such an amazing feeling that its only normal to ask someone : why are you unhappy... We want it for EVERY living being !!! ... @PumpakinPie Athletics, arts, or confidence comes easier to some than others. Happiness is the same. Oftentimes telling others they should be happy doesn't work because happiness can't be willed. Happiness is a complex issue with many facets. First off is whose definition of happiness do we use? Advertisers, education system, peers, and government try to impose their definition of happiness. Happiness in the USA usually means attractive, rich, successful, with 2.5 children, house, tv, and cars.

@PumpakinPie While happiness in an impoverished country might simply mean having enough food for the day. Most people are unhappy because of societal programming. It raises the bar to an unachievable level. For example many believe happiness is being popular. This causes us to be someone we're not. Which in turn leads to further unhappiness. I've found the less I base my happiness on the external the happier I am. Contentment can't permanently be found in this chaotic world. Instead go within.

I've bottled those emotions for way too long.I thought "hey if i think like that I'll be no better than a stupid emo" but you know its not the understanding thats the problem, its the approach. Life sucks and my expectations for it are low but I'll still try to be a good citizen for mine and society's sake.
