No. It wasn't his group that got him kicked off, it's because he forgot the lyrics to "Get Ready" and changed them.

He DID have a backstory. If you watched his audition, he says he wanted to audition to help his family, and then his dad started crying in the background.

But yes, he is elligible to audition again because he didn't make the Top 36.

I think one of the reasons, is that he has a good voice, but it wasnt completely incredible... and he didnt have a story, however, I really wish he would have made it, I love him already! :) hopefully he will try again on season 9!!!

i just see j.b in first episode, since then, i never saw before.

is he eliminated? he is get out froam american idol?
