  • everyone needs to hear this at least once!!!

  • Best concert I've seen in 30 years. Loved it.

  • AWESOME ALBUM!!!!!

  • If you saw the AWATS gigs FYI: The Wizard is having a Todd Rundgren Musical Survival Camp with inter-disciplinary workshops on the rock biz...Hang with the stars under the stars in the Catskills, June 20 - 24. Spaces will available.

  • Todd does it all!!!! AWATS live.com expired 4/18/11 pending for renewal.. Hope it getS renewed..would like to see it. Todd you are the BEST. NOBODY DOES IT BETTER!!!

  • Oh Todd! ((HUGS)) Could I love or respect you any more? I think not! Please keep going on your "tangents".

  • Amazing album. Todd blew the doors off the psych world with 70s technology. I play the vinyl for people and they can't believe when this album was put together.

  • The greatest acid album of all time!! Beats the pants off Sgt Peppers!

  • Remember Todd, when you came to Winnipeg with Blue Oyster Cult, and some guy called out, "Where's your fu*&in pyramid"?

As your greatest fan, please come to Winnipeg again. I'll be terribly disappointed if I don't see you do this album, which is one of my favorites.

  • shame on you Todd Rundgren... throwing Paul Fishkin under the bus... NOT THE WAY IT CAME DOWN AT ALL, but you, the artist, tell your fans "the truth," and then revisionist history becomes the defacto standard. I did the radio promotion in conjunction with WB, and we worked the crap out of "Sometimes I Don't Know What To Feel," but alas... radio didn't deem it pop worthy. Not for lack of trying. I promise... and Paul was more dedicated to you than most artists ever get in a lifetime. Sad. really!

  • Saw AWATS in Mpls. No $200 seats here, but the $35 T-shirts and occasional missed cue were. Still a transcendent concert. Loved seeing Kasim and Roger as well.

  • $35 T Shirts; $200 seats; muddy sound; filled with glitches and no encore but still a great time.

  • There were 20 $200 pit seats for Akron I and 2. The majority of seats were $50-$75 FYI. Glad you enjoyed the show!

  • Sitting in a hotel room in Akron, OH on 9/06/2009...awaiting AWATS! It's a little past 4pm EDT...less than 4 hours to go. Fucking excited! Flew here this afternoon from Nashville, TN to see history being made! And I couldn't think about NOT being part of it!

  • In 1975/76 the only class I needed to pass & graduate was my art class. I blew up this album cover to 3' x 3' and made my replica. I am now 51 years old, and I am looking at it right now. Todd is timeless. A class act and a true "musicians' musician". He is the real deal and there will never be another like him. I have seen him over 100 times and this show is gonna be one of the best. (right nexrt to RA!)

  • Playing in Chicago on 9/12 and 9/13. Park West

  • Minneapolis, too, so if you can't make it to Ohio....

  • Wizard is actually my favorite album from Todd.

  • wonder if TODD will add more stops to this tour, should be one great concert.

  • Im going to the London date, it will be one of the greatest nights of my life!

  • Well I'll be heading down to London from North of The Border as I did in 2004 for the Liars show, which almost guarantees there will be a date confirmed later for Glasgow just as happened with the Liars tour dates, lol.

Todd shows are usually worth the travel required and expenses incurred, though.

  • Greatest ever! Yes, Greatest ever!

  • Godd, he was gorgeous.

  • Best album ever!

  • Eating my heart out I can't go to Akron. He's gonna sing my theme song "Just Another Onionhead"!

    5/5* and faved! :D

  • I picked this up as a junior in High school. Had just dropped some acid and put it on.... Played it over and over all night long trying to 'get it'. My life was never the same.

  • A wizard/True Star was the first album that blew me away. I was mesmerized by it's complexity and it's beauty. 2 others were Led Zepplin II, and Abbey Road. If I was stranded on an island, I'd need them to survive. Thanks Todd !!

  • mak1ty78 I was so into Todd after Something/Anything and then he came out with this. It blew my head off, I was just a teenager but used to sit alone for hours in my room listening on my old turntable and trying to understand, both the melodies and the lyrics.

I'd also stare at the album cover and wonder where he came from, what World?

    Still wondering.

  • I just bought a ticket for Akron!!!!

  • I'll see you there! We bought ours the day tickets went on sale!

  • Can't wait, this is going to be awesome. We will be there.

    Mary Anne and Larry

  • I'll be there!

  • Hey Doug - Sure wish AWATS was coming to CHICAGO .... can't make it to OHIO but I'll be there in spirit ....

    all my best,

    Bonnie

  • Akron Ohio...yeah... will be there

  • Hello mickmaag, Akron not your typical tourist destination, but Akron/Cleveland has lots of solid Todd backers. Think you'll like the venue too.

  • Grew up in Barberton Oh, next door to Akron, Saw the Ra show at the Civic and more... Great Place for the show... and I being one of the Todd Backers agree with this location fully.....

  • Nice job Doug!!! 122 more days...

  • Some photos here that I have never seen before thanks for the post Doug!
