I have found this material many times over the years and had came to the strange conclusion that it was eel regurgitation (as no-one else had this theory lol) The most recent find was only today (hence this comment) but i doubt this latest find had fallen from the sky. I found it placed atop a four foot basalt pillar, maybe 25g or more but there was none at the foot of the pillar nor anywhere else (that eel theory is incorrect) It certainly is a strange substance, i'd love to know what it is.
