  • Got Vinnie!!!

  • Thank you, DRUMPROGRESS :)

  • Beautiful composition! Can you tell me the name?

Thanks for sharing, the whole concert in Tokio is fantastic!

  • @MAMAHEBEHA humpty dumpty is the name of this composition.

  • Vinnie is the Beast!

  • I have to agree with you.. but can this be considered a prog swing version, so to speak? Ha, ha.. No matter what, Vinnie IS Vinnie and he has the gift of burning in every style. Totally love it!

  • 1992?? the album was released in 1996.

  • @digimaton Where can I find the album today?

  • @Illadelphism Live From Blue Note Tokyo, released 1996, Japanese import, it's on Amazon for silly money so look elsewhere.

  • @digimaton yeah its 100 bucks on amazon i was like.. what. the. FUCK. i want this album so bad though i might just buy it hahahha

  • @jrtjazztrio the DVD is floating about online, dig a little, you'll find a rip.

  • I bought this CD from Audiophile Imports a few years ago. Don't know whether it's still available. Nevertheless, Audiophile Imports probably has the finest selection of Cds featuring Vinnie Coliauta (Allan Holdsworth: "Secrets," Buell Niedlinger: "Big Drum," Steve Tavaglione: "Blue Tav," etc). Check it out!

  • I am a huge Vinnie fan, but in this case, I liked the version with Weckl a little better. I think this style is more Weckl's bag, but Vinnie still burns in this performance!! Thanks for posting!!
