yes, it does not add the two bandwidths literally but if you use software that uses multiple connections/tunnels such as free download manager or utorrent it will seem as if the two connections have added up.
let's say you have 1Mbps and 2Mbps internet connection. If you hook these two into the load balancing router, you will experience a boost in your bandwidth equal to 1Mbps+2Mbps = 3Mbps. That is IF you are running multiple connecttions as in the case of downloading through download managers/accelerators or torrents. Otherwise, if you are running an application that runs only a single connecttion, the highest speed you can get is only 2Mbps and not 3Mbps.
oh ok. so whats the speed of the two devices that u have hooked up to the rv042? and whats the speed u get out of the rv042?
sorry for those silly questions but i want to know a little bit more info before buyin it. i have server 2003 and usin it as a NLB with two NIC's have two wans conncted to that and thought if i get this router it will rid of the server 2003
What a ghetto place.

Remember that this dual wan router only does load balancing and does not literally add up your individual bandwidths from the two ISPs.
Of course, if you are using server 2003 as an internet server for two ISPs, you can get rid of this if you use this router.
