  • CASH

  • I just love the song as much as the movie Ghost Rider :)

  • I don't thing Johnny ment it as a possitive thing to be a Ghost rider. The Ghost riders is a symbol for Hell. It is however Great Music.

  • @ 777DejaVu777

Traditionally the devil is supposed to deal with you for your soul, when bartering for a one way trip to hell.

The song may glorify and paint an epic picture of these riders but ultimatly, they are the souls of men trapped doing something they rather wouldnt for eternity.

    Kind of ironic isnt it?

  • Alot of Country music really sucks but this really doesn't.

  • Johnny Cash

God Bless! You will sing forever!

  • 2 people made a crap attempt to get into the top comments.

  • 10 people rode their horses into Brokeback Mountain and had bad experiences, so now they dislike this song

  • 10 people have got to ride for ever on that range up in the sky

  • Tökjó!!!

  • 10 people listen to computer music.

  • @e6e2e3e1 I listen to this *and* "computer music".

    Your move.

  • Oh, c'mon, I like the Boy George version best. Now, let's argue about that!

If you prefer Marty's version, go there, it's on your right. They are both classics.

Now forget what I said about Boy George.

  • this song is of johny cash

  • ohhh 666 vs. 10... guys you have problem with hell :D

  • @ODY295 just like the army says RETREAT HELL!!!!!!!!!

  • To jest...TO!!!

  • @grzybopodobny PAZI ZA SVE PARE

  • I'm not knocking Johnny Cash (he's one of my favorite country singers ever) but Marty Robbins' version is my favorite. For those who don't know Marty Robbins is a country singer from around the sixties and seventies who was rather famous for his western music such as the song 'El Paso'.

  • who in fuck is marty robbins its all about johnny cash the best and im mexican

  • marty robbins sings it the best

  • @chartercody i would have to disagree. Cash is better

  • great tune

  • i wish i was a cowboy :(

  • LET'S RIDE!!!!!!!

  • Johnny cash was NOT country,at least not to me,to me he was the beginning of southern rock

  • @homeoftheblues southern "rock" is country dude. i should know i grew up in the south but spent most of my life in boston.

  • thumbs up if in the last image you think the guys hat looks like a U.F.O

  • This is Johnny Cash. It is not Marty Robbins

  • Best...Western...EVER.

  • thumps up if u replayed just to hear that deep lovely soothing voice riddle your bones :]

  • exelentes simplemente exelente

  • There was just no point in ever remaking this song after Johnny Cash did it.

  • RIP Johnny................ride on

  • At 1:54 isnt it from Indiana Jones at the end of Last Crusade????

  • @77elvistheking , This song was recorded long before Last Crusade came out.

  • Great song. Cash is the best. About the only country I can stand.

  • @thewulfone same here, I can't stand country but Johnny Cash is something else.

  • This theme is eternal.

  • there is a brazilian version for this song,

    in portuguese, by milton nascimento.

your video is so beautiful. antonio

  • thenoblequran (Ctrl+Enter)

  • This is so nostalgic for me. My grandfather used to play a record of this every Sunday morning up until the day he died.

  • Excellent !

  • I always use this song when I enter the ring. It gets me pumped alot..

  • Hhanaaa...

  • finely Johnny Cash singing the song been looking and till this one all of them was covers or some kinda rock or metal remix Thank You VERY Much for this one. there may have been a lot of singers before Mr.Cash to sing this but i feel that he sings it the best of them all his voice and the music mix so well.

  • I know nothing of Country music. None at all, but this rocks.

  • @Bweep09 I don't think this is country... is it XD??? i have no idea dude :P

  • @alahad This is most definitely country.... its Johnny Cash.. he isn't quite as legit country as some of the others from his time... but he still is.

  • @DumbbosNewChannel oh... I see thanks

  • @DumbbosNewChannel

OK MISTER LET"S GET ONE THING STR8 HERE!

When it comes to being "legit" in "country" JOHNNY CASH *is* a member of the A list. Hank Williams I, II, (III is questionable) Conway Twitty, Possum Jones, T.E. Ford, Jimmy Dean, Roy Rogers, Coe, Waylon, Willie or any other iconic are all among this A-list, there is none higher in terms of status.

Johnny is a popular guy in this group.

  • @Elwoood13 now you have to understand what I'm saying... I'm saying that as a general rule Johnny Cash isn't quite country, he is his own thing... HOWEVER.. i'm not arguing that he is legit, and rightfully a member of that group.. and in regards to hank 3, i say throw him in.

  • @Bweep09 all you need to know is that this is real country, not that horse shit on the radio.

  • hahaha!!!!

  • this my favorite country song plus it has a good christian message

  • that most beautiful music I'm Latin ment I love this kind of music

  • Boldog karácsonyt és boldog új évet BARÁTAIM!

  • one of the best of Jonny Cash songs.

  • Yep, Elwood sang it better.

  • no one except marty robbins and the original artist vaughn monroe could sing it better. love you johnny!

  • I can't say Marty has the voice for it, but I suppose it's a matter of opinion.

  • Damn honey, I kept my mouth shut 'cause I didn't want to date myself but I guess the kitty is out of the bag now. Good call Grannydyess.

  • i bow my head in humble modesty. lol i have a passion for country and western music. cash haggard jennings ;marty robbins- my favorite singer of all; but an arizona park ranger named stabn jones wrote it

  • The song was written by Stan Jones in 1948. Gene Autry sang this song in his 1949 movie Riders In The Sky. .BUT !!Yes your correct, this is Johnny Cash singing this version. This song also inspired The Doors to sing Riders Of The Storm
