  • Dam nice kit , hat's off to you !!!

  • My kit isnt near as elaborate, all of my BOB or camping gear is multifunctional. I use my net hammock as a gill net if needed. I do have a number of snares prepared but I sometimes keep 100'+ of 550 cord as well as a 30ft roll of utility wire so I can always make more. Seems a bit bulky to have to carry in a bugout scenario, what is the combined weight? I like to travel very light.

  • what.... no band-aids??? lol jk, nice kit

  • Excellent video!!!

  • A rather impertinent question, Have you actually used those yoyos? if so how good are they? are they worth the money? Thank for the info, great site and vids, subbed. later edwyrd.

  • @edwyrd thanks for the sub brother! I've been using them for years. yoyo reels do work. They will keep constant pressure on the fish, tiring it out. When the fish has no more fight in it they will bring it in. The only downfall is they do require bait as opposed to a lure. I get them for around $2.50 a piece. Maybe cheaper by the dozen. The same job could be accomplished with an empty plastic bottle, with a line hanging off of it connected to the hook and another line connected to the shore.

  • @edwyrd I've heard stories of old timers sitting around with over 100 yoyo reels set up. Just walking back and forth gathering their catch. They are illegal to use in certian areas.

  • Yo, Pathfinder manufactures a sling bow kit now. Check it out on the site! I just ordered mine. Can't wait to play with it!

  • @Playyapappas right on, thanks for passing the info along!

  • Sweet, you're not going to go hungry with that kit. Good vid.

  • I grew up on squirel and eggs for breakfast we would go to the barn every morning and feed the animals and get eggs on the way we would set rat traps on trees with peanut butter on the way back we would collect the squirels for breakfast no need for guns still works great for breakfast

  • whats a yoyo real and do you have to have a fishing pole with them to use them

  • @WildLifeGuy308 no pole required, you don't eeven have to watch them. they will pull in your catch on their own.. google "yoyo reel', they are really cheap to buy too!

  • @romeodelta1178 thanks i have just one more question i saw most people hung them from trees in the middle of the lake what if you font have a boat thn could you just throw you line out and anker the real to the shore?

  • @WildLifeGuy308 they can be hung off a tree limb on the shore, then just throw the line out in the water.

  • hey i want to get some conibear traps but what would be a good size for squirrel and rabbit then would i need a nother size for ratcoon and bigger things?

  • @WildLifeGuy308 110 for squirel and rabbit, 220 for coons

  • Trapping, snaring, and emergency fishing. Other than the set up they require no energy to work.

  • Very Nice Kit !... I think you covered most of your bases... Good luck.

  • Nice stuff and good ideas.

  • Nice kit, Man!

  • That is a sweet kit you got there, everything you need to fish, hunt and/or trap. I've been trying to find a whisker biscuit for my sling shot at the local stores, but no luck yet. I've got the arrows.......LOL. Take Care :-))

  • @SurviveN2 the whisker biscuit would be a sweet upgrade.
