Thats just how Evos are from the factory...and that honda would have to be rebuilt with in a year to withstand 18psi as a daily driver. You may have beatn an Evo, but I'm guessing the driver sucked balls cause I walked from an E46 M3 with my Evo 9 with just a Turbo back exhaust....And I'm pretty sure the M3 stock and the 335i stock are about the same
just how much psi you are pushing doesnt make all the difference. you also have to take into consideration the compression ratio and on a honda it is obviously going to be higher because it came factory N/A making boost more affective but slightly more dangerous. so if you were to have a 4g63 with stroker kit w/ higher compression while using factory boost then,, you get the picture.
@jwoodxtech i know this is old but that civic jogged passed that evo. i bet the civic, after fully building it and after the cost of everything he put into it thats not motor work, cost as much as a stock evo. fully build the evo, put it on slicks, run 50psi and i bet it would still get beat by a fully built civic on 30psi.
