I really wanted to see Bluetech this year but, I really don't think it's going to happen (Double sad face).

this looks like alot of fun, a bit to hippieish for my taste, but would be interesting to check out. I enjoyed burning man 5 years ago. though I dont think i could stay at something like this for more than a few days, gettin kind of long in the tooth to party it up

really i felt like i was in yosemite again for about 10mins. then reality came down like a bundle of bricks...that being I live in Michigan and its about to be wintberrr...i dont think i'll get a better moment in my life than what symbiosis was/is/will be...the road trip out there drivin from michigan was a blast as well but next time I think I will fly...less speeding tickets that way...Sorry State of Wyoming..i'll pay you someday

@SkyFoxCode Everybody is just people. I go to these sorts of things by myself, all over the world. Be yourself and you'll always run into like minded people. Make new random friends. It's fun.

I agree. I go to festivals like this my myself sometimes. I'd think that if you're a shy person, events like this (Symbiosis, Burning Man, Lightning In A Bottle, etc) are the PERFECT environment to help you come out of your shell a little bit... because the people are the most accepting, non-judgemental, loving, welcoming persons you'll ever encounter. It's so easy to make new friends at these things. Tell people you're by yourself and they'll welcome you like family, I guarantee!

You are the master of your own destiny! You just need to be hungry

@posmism I heard Symbiosis may not happen this year but hopefully it's back in 2011 for you. Great crew, great gathering. Seems most of the larger gatherings are in the spring in the US. Some in summer also, but not as much in the Fall. Other than Symbiosis, the TOUCH / SAMADHI crew on the east coast do a fall gathering. Check out their website at touchsamadhi for info.
