  • WONDERFUL!

  • What 1 person would dislike this..

  • @salwainfinite yeah, i think many of us are well aware of that, thanks though. oh, one other thing...are you posting that statement on every song from the 50's that was released that way? gotta let 'you people' know now haven't you. have fun with that, it's gonna take you a long time...

  • @salwainfinite at that time it was 1967.

  • @salwainfinite Does it matter?

  • @FSB75 yes it does matter all props need to be given to the right people you know like how jesus was and is black lol ha ha ha lol oh snap that does not matter either you lose buddy.

  • @salwainfinite - so who did do the ORIGINAL? IN The UK we were familiar with the Timebox version!

  • @salwainfinite

not in this case... get over it.

  • @salwainfinite what do u mean?

  • put ur loving thumbs up baby

  • @ linkin5961 OK, I see your point, some of it at least. Good thing we both have some nuance in our thinking. Yeah, sometimes I can be a bit sceptical towards rapmusic. But I never said nor thought anything about black, that is entirely up to you. Heck, I even enjoy the new version. So I'll try to ban the negative thinking from my mind some more, maybe I was just in a upset mood. Yes, it's a good thing that he liked the song and did something with it, I encourage that. So no flamewar here :-)

  • When this song is on; I instantly immerse into another dimension. I feel immortal and magical.

  • Love it. Thanks so much for uploading.

  • Northern soul fave

  • классная песня!!!!

  • im 14 and i actually heard this versions first and love it so much more and lets just say the replay button on this video has gotten a little abused :)

  • too slow make the record go faster a bittttt

  • @LutMejiaJ sorry, can't do that-it's at the right pitch... ;)

  • @tmullahy really? dosent record players got speed thingy?

  • @LutMejiaJ yeah, it does but for this recording it's set at the correct speed, that's what people want. plus i can't do anything with the video now can i!!! if you do want a speeded-up version (why, i don't know?) send me a message and i'll see what i can do for you...

  • @tmullahy i know im just saying

  • @LutMejiaJ cool. i hope you don't think i was being shitty with you, just needed to understand :)

  • @tmullahy put ur loving hands out baby

  • @LutMejiaJ haha, like it

  • @LutMejiaJ sweetie, you do not know how to improve this.

  • record sounds allot nicer than the digital weirdly enough, like its got soul.

  • I'm finding myself loving all versions of this.

  • There is something magical in a small piece of vinyl that turns endlessly.

  • @joicemedia So true, I was just staring at it for the whole song.

  • @joicemedia So, So Good.

  • Awesome! I like Madcons version too, but this one better. Makes me wonder why Madcon bothered to make the new version, (well, for money and fame) they added nothing and didn't make the arrangement their own. They rapped to it - which in this case is a lesser artistic achievement. I do appreciate that they 'bumped' the song back onto the radio.

  • @dreamtreater Why does every time a black person does something someone has to be negative. Yea he did rap, did it add anything more to the song? no. But maybe he just love this song and wanted to make his own version of it. He may be a rap and is black but I'm sure he likes other styles of music. If it was a white guy that just song the song in his own style, no one would say anything. I don't care for a lot of rap now but at-least he tried to do something different with a song he liked.

  • @linkin5961 I'd have felt better about his version if he'd used more real musicians on it. He certainly had his heart in the right place wanting to re-imagine this gem, though . . .

  • @dreamtreater And I do agree it doesn't touch the original.

  • @linkin5961 I answered your comment in another comment, but probably missed a button or something...I'm sure you'll see it now

  • well i like both versions

  • Awesome!!! This is so full of soul, nostalgia, desperation, supplication. A child would say this is a good song to cry to. Thanks for uploading

  • I heard the Madcon version first. I like this version so much more. Crackles and all!

  • Best version ever like all songs Frankie did
