Just thought I'd let you know that I streamed on behalf of Gaia Online linking to the widget and raised ~$100 towards it. I'm glad I'm subscribed to you, because although I'm not as big of a name as the people you listed, I was still able to be of some help. I will GLADLY participate in more, it was a blast!
I watched the whole vid and I don't understand how the battles work. Is it just me? First of all you need people's FRIEND CODES in order to battle them. Can someone PLEASE explain to me how these battles work? I can't tell it to other people if I don't know myself how the battle's are going to work!!

my friend has had luck with free the children twice before, both times raising enough money to build a school house in a third world nation so i have to vote for them. my second vote would have to go to habitat for humanity.

First of all, Xerxes, congratulations on being part of this charity event. I sure am looking forward to participating in it! I got a suggestion for helping raise money in this event that I learned from one of my favorite Call of Duty players and commentators, Hutch from Machinima (shaun0728 in youtube).
Ourtoolbar(dot)com is a site for creating downloadable toolbars for web browsers. Downloading is completely free and the website pays the toolbar creator about $0.40 cents per download. Hutch stated in one of his videos that within a week he made a couple hundred dollars.
This seems like an excellent alternative for people who wish to donate but do not have any means to transfer money from their accounts.
Hutch is a pretty legit person and I have no reason not to trust him, especially since he was the first youtube videogamer to promote the website before all CoD players started asking for donations via downloadable toolbars.
@QuikFingaz Its a very compelling concept, but me+ 2betheman just don't understand it. It seems "too good to be true" So we put up a toolbar on the site, and you guys Download it, and then we get money for it? Free money doesn't exist in this world. Especially since people could just delete whatever right after downloading it, or am I wrong? I just don't know.
I understand your point of view. I've never tried it myself but I'm just simply going by the words of some of my favorite Video Gamers of all time.
One thing they have all stated is that you can delete the toolbar shortly after downloading it and they still get credit for the download.
Maybe one of your pokepals follows the CoD community? If so then it'd be great if that person contacted Hutch, Onlyusemeblade, Blametruth, or Xcalizor as they are the main players with toolbars.
You make a point by saying there is no free money. I was just throwing a suggestion that seems legit, but if you guys decide to not get involved I'll fully understand.

This is incredible, there is really no other word. Suddenly Im hugely glad Im on study leave so I can be around to witness it. Ill donate what I can on the day and Ill post this around all the forums I go to as well. Charity wise I vote for the National Breast Cancer foundation, as breast cancer runs in my family so I really know how hard it can be, and Make A Wish.
It may be wise to pick an international charity. The USA is a large and wealthy nation, and many Non-Americans will fell no urge to donate to American cancer patients, even though they understand the gravity and impact of the disease. (The US is richer than my country, they're in a better position to pay for their ill. - They are against solidarity among themselves (nationalized healthcare), why would I have to be solidary? - etc.)
Therefor, WWF and Free the children are my picks.
On a second note: Id like to thank you Xerxes for doing this. Not a whole lot of people realize all the problems that surround us everyday. If we all can stick together and help each other out, this world will become a way better place. We Pokemon Trainers are probably all glad to help in our own ways here. Def Make a wish. every time i think about Make a Wish, i cry just about. so many kids that dont get a chance to live there lives to the fullest get there chance to have their dreams come true. I really want to help if i can. im short on funds, but i can survive without. There are others than need it more than me. The second would be for the American Cancer Society. I lost my grandparents to it..and i dont want others to have to go through that. Hook me up with the site i need so i can help!!

Suggestion for the charity/charities that will be chosen. Try to pick something that is international if possible so viewer like myself can donate as easily as possible. I will probably be donating 100$ on each of the days. Personally, I would like the Make a Wish foundation, I have donated to them before and have seen their work in the hospital I work at. But really all the options are good when donating to charity. Hope this drive on well on you're end. I will not miss it for the world. =

Hutch is a pretty legit person and I have no reason not to trust him, especially since he was the first youtube videogamer to promote the website before all CoD players started asking for donations via downloadable toolbars.

@QuikFingaz Its a very compelling concept, but me+ 2betheman just don't understand it. It seems "too good to be true" So we put up a toolbar on the site, and you guys Download it, and then we get money for it? Free money doesn't exist in this world. Especially since people could just delete whatever right after downloading it, or am I wrong? I just don't know.

I understand your point of view. I've never tried it myself but I'm just simply going by the words of some of my favorite Video Gamers of all time.
One thing they have all stated is that you can delete the toolbar shortly after downloading it and they still get credit for the download.
Maybe one of your pokepals follows the CoD community? If so then it'd be great if that person contacted Hutch, Onlyusemeblade, Blametruth, or Xcalizor as they are the main players with toolbars.

You make a point by saying there is no free money. I was just throwing a suggestion that seems legit, but if you guys decide to not get involved I'll fully understand.
Anyway, I can't wait to battle you Xerxes on the charity day. I've only had around 10 battles in the 4th gen so I'm really looking forward to kicking butts of my favorite players :p

This is incredible, there is really no other word. Suddenly Im hugely glad Im on study leave so I can be around to witness it. Ill donate what I can on the day and Ill post this around all the forums I go to as well. Charity wise I vote for the National Breast Cancer foundation, as breast cancer runs in my family so I really know how hard it can be, and Make A Wish.

It may be wise to pick an international charity. The USA is a large and wealthy nation, and many Non-Americans will fell no urge to donate to American cancer patients, even though they understand the gravity and impact of the disease. (The US is richer than my country, they're in a better position to pay for their ill. - They are against solidarity among themselves (nationalized healthcare), why would I have to be solidary? - etc.)
Therefor, WWF and Free the children are my picks.

On a second note: Id like to thank you Xerxes for doing this. Not a whole lot of people realize all the problems that surround us everyday. If we all can stick together and help each other out, this world will become a way better place. We Pokemon Trainers are probably all glad to help in our own ways here. Def Make a wish. every time i think about Make a Wish, i cry just about. so many kids that dont get a chance to live there lives to the fullest get there chance to have their dreams come true. I really want to help if i can. im short on funds, but i can survive without. There are others than need it more than me. The second would be for the American Cancer Society. I lost my grandparents to it..and i dont want others to have to go through that. Hook me up with the site i need so i can help!!

im gonna try to donate at least half of the money i get for my birthday. 16th coming up on the twelfth, so should be a good amount of money. and you guys should try to get TSP if you aren't already asking him. and you should try to battle people watching the stream too, that could be nice to see how other people play the game. i personally would like to battle one of you guys, but sadly my internet isnt compatible with my ds =/. but this is a great idea, you guys are awesome!

Suggestion for the charity/charities that will be chosen. Try to pick something that is international if possible so viewer like myself can donate as easily as possible. I will probably be donating 100$ on each of the days. Personally, I would like the Make a Wish foundation, I have donated to them before and have seen their work in the hospital I work at. But really all the options are good when donating to charity. Hope this drive on well on you're end. I will not miss it for the world. =
