You can't say fuck Norway when nearly every seminal black metal band comes from there, and when every band that are the reason that black metal exists as it does today comes from there.

And there's no doubt there were good, influential international scenes, but I was referring to how black metal exists in its current form, and the bands from the second wave in Norway are by far the most well-known and oft-cited influence.

Besides, a crappy talentless band like Venom cannot in no way influence an epic and majestic band like Bathory.
We all agree that Venom influenced the image and the lyrics but they had little or no influence at all on black metal music and they were never black metal. So to say it started in UK is stupid.

And there's no doubt there were good, influential international scenes, but I was referring to how black metal exists in its current form, and the bands from the second wave in Norway are by far the most well-known and oft-cited influence.
