yes crazyhorse this is normal. I live about _ miles west of you and have still photo's of this storm as well. I have been here for 30 years, photographing and video taping storms, and this is normal........very striking visually, but still a normal progression of the cloud formation....

This is a supercell thunderstorm. It looks strong enough to have produced at lest baseball size hail, maybe up to softball size. It may have produced a tornado or two as well.

This video IS sped up. This cloud was NOT moving.  I have pictures on my cell of this. I walked out of Blockbuster in Round Rock off Gattis School and Redbud in the HEB shopping area(for those of us who live here,you know exactly where I was) and saw it. Even though it is not a UFO it was still breathtaking. Every one who walked out of the subway,cleaners,etc in that strip were staring at it in awe. I am a star gazer and a UFO enthusiast but this was a natural phenomenon. :(

Yes, it IS normal and happens quite frequently.

You can tell by the speedy moving vehicle lights that this footage was sped up. Even if it was slower, it's still amazing that this took place in the sky.
