    I Agree with Everyone!

No One like Tammy, Not Then, Not Now, Not Ever.

  • I wonder what the true story is about this song. Does anyone know what happend between these two? My heart aches for them.

  • One of The Best songs ever recorded by Tammy Wynette

I will forever be a tammy fan.....

  • One of the most poignant songs in country music. And of course the Queen sang it. How many Queens of Country music has there been? Patsy, Loretta, Kitty, the list goes on. Only Dolly never claimed the title. Neither did Tammy. It was bestowed upon her out of love and respect. Her talent deserved it.

  • The only woman of country..miss you so much

  • Class, talent and style, this lady had it !!!!!! So many memories of listening to her as a child and the comfort and peace she brings me now listening to her still as an adult. What a lady!!

  • When country was country and it still had class....

  • @mrgb46 BigAmen to that mrgb46

  • The queen of country, God Bless Her.....

  • I like her earrings.

  • I was lucky enough to have met and be able to be around " The First Lady of Country Music" and she was the most down to earth and sweet lady anyone could ever imagine, I still can't believe we lost her already 13 years ago!! She loved performing and she was great to me!! LF

  • i listen to this song every time i miss my husband who passed away almost 3 years now

  • @RuppyTes I THINK OF MY HUSBAND ALSO WHO PASSED AWAY 7 YEARS AGO. IT'S HARD TO MOVE FROM 1 DAY TO THE NEXT, BUT WE HAVE TO GO ON.

  • @RUPPYTES I ALSO HAVE A HARD TIME LISTENING TO GEORGE JONES SINGING

" HE STOPPED LOVING HER TODAY "

  • @RuppyTes I can only hope that when I pass away someday my wife would sing this for me

  • I miss this voice. What a legend amoung legends. Love ya Tammy. I know you are singing in heaven.

  • I listen to stand by your man all the time it's also one of her many remarkable songs.

  • Whispering wind this song is for you...Take care till your journey comes to the end I love you.

    Dawn of a Dove

  • when I was a small boy my mum used to play these records in the early 80's on a Saturday morning when she was cleaning the house, listening to Tammy reminds me so much of my mum and my childhood. RIP Mum and Tammy love Matt

  • when I was a small boy my mum used to play these records in the early 80's on a Saturday morning when she was cleaning the house, listening to Tammy reminds me so much of my mum and my childhood. RIP Mum and Tammy love Matt xx

  • To an earlier comment. Yes Tammy used George. But George used Tammy to bring himself back into the spotlight. Let s be real and honest. Just for the fun of it, research which one had the most #1's and top 10's. To another comment, yes she did it for the money. We all do what we do for the money. And she didn t die alone. She was married to Guy Richey. Okay, I ll give you that one. She did die alone. There will never be another Tammy Wynette. One of a kind. Sing with the Angels.

  • I remember Tammy said in an interview that she started out as a beutician and after she made it to the big time she retained her beauty license and still kept it current just in case the bottom fell out and she had to start over again.

  • ♥♥♥ Tammy!

  • 7 losers dont know the best

  • best tammy song ever

  • Before country became rich lipstick models singing about 'Party On' , women did, and still do need a voice, about the sorrow and longing of Love. This IS real life. Tammy made lots of money, but died sad and alone. One of the great voices of country music.

  • We lost Virginia way too soon.

  • We all have to live, but I do not think she did this for money only. She was vulnerable, and she presented this to us, which helped us connecting to her real spirit. We all suffer somehow, and she manifested that. Thus, I really appreciated her art.

  • beautiful song. what has happened to country music. A bunch of rich, city kids trying to sound like the old country artists. They make me sick. Go do hip hop or rap and leave country music to real country lovers, not make a quick buck artists

  • @yogi2482

Hate to break it to you, but I'm sure dear ole' Tammy was doing this for the money too.

  • I love the old songs. Excellent post. Laura

  • what a fantastic singer...such sadness in her songs...i no how she feels xxx

  • i love this song..i cry evertime i hear it..its beautiful

  • I am 52. Back in the 70's we had Cougars like Tammy and I am not to proud to say.........I banged a few!!

  • @nitemoovs Tammy was no Cougars.. you dumb ass and if you bang anyone then keep it to your damn self

  • @nitemoovs Back in the 70's a cougar was a cat. I was around back then. I had me a fox for sure.

  • Dont forget dolly x x x

  • I agree

  • The three top ladies of country is and will always be ;

Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline. RIP Tammy ,, Love you Lorretta and wish I had met you cousin Patsy

  • @cjolly5 connie francis knows her way around a country song too

  • @joeyjosephs ........This is about Tammy...not Connie

  • @edgleb how Mature and whatever

  • @joeyjosephs ........not very Mature at all...but so true........I love Connie, but this is tammy's page.didn't mean any harm....Happy Bird Day......................P.S. I don't have any Connie in my collection......What should I start with??????.........but Tammy is the QUEEN

  • She is truly an amazing singer and will be missed. I can listen to her everyday and never get tired of her voice!!

  • so sad I didn't get to see her live - fantastic

  • No one will ever come up to her ankle when they sing. She had it all. That voice is just the best.I agree with Tony Spurman. I love you TAmmy and always will listen to your music until I am no more! RIP to this great Lady of Country. The new ones should learn a thing or two from both Tammy or George Jones.

  • Anyone who doesn't LOVE this song is a FUCKING MORON!!!

  • Miss you Mommy T. RIP

  • This song is support to me at a time in my life, where I can reflect on her spirit and soul. It gives me hope x x x god bless you tammy

  • Brilliantly understated, yet so soulful. True genius from the first lady of country music.

  • Her voice wasn't as strong at this point in her life but she still looked like a million bucks. Country music isn't the same without it's queen. The world misses you Tammy.

  • I must correct MrTimothyPhillips about the Billboard chart. True, it did peak at 84 on the Bilboard Pop chart...peaked at #1 on the Billboard Country Chart. In the 1970's for a country single to make the pop chart, at all, was quite a feat. She was one of a kind.

  • This is a great song. Tammy could really belt it. If you like this version then I'm willing to bet you'll like mine. I got a future country star performing this, so if you want to check it out that would be great. Thanks!

  • @StephenHardyMusic -- The version on your channel is nothing like Tammy's. The singing on your version is pretty good, but it doesn't have the same emotional feel that Tammy brought to the song. I think it's tacky of you to come onto this site and try to promote another singer. Would you go to Michael Jackson's site and try to promote a young dancer? No, because there is no one like Michael. There is also no one like the great Tammy Wynette. So please, leave her memory alone.

  • Everyone has their favorite female C&W singer, and I have several. Tammy surely ranks as one of them, right there with Loretta, Patsy, Kitty, Jody, Barbara, Sammi and Linda. That puts them all in pretty good company.

In addition to her talent, Tammy benefited from having a skilled producer who had a natural knack for matching songs, arrangements and players to the artist. Tammy would have been great with any good producer, but with Billy Sherrill, she was incredible.

  • Nothing to say except,.....Lord that lady could sing!

  • tammy you have the most beautiful voice. till i get use to loving you the arrangement and the way you sing it is untouchable.

  • tammy you have the most beautiful voice.till ican make it on my own.the arrangement and the way you sing it is untouchable.

  • Beautiful, just beautiful

  • You just said a mouth full. There's no question who the real queen of real country is. Tammy Wynette can bring a tear to a glass eye.

  • I miss this great lady of country music to this day as if she were a close relative. Definitely a woman with an abundance of class and talent. Her humble nature never allowed her to comprehend just how important she was to her generation and country music. May her legendary spirit always live on.

  • Nice

  • The real deal,a really beautiful singer,R.I.P.Tammy

  • its what i feel like now she just hits it rght every time tammy r.i.p

  • No one can sing about heartbreak like Tammy can! Maybe Patsey Cline too! <3

  • What makes this so good is she lives the song and you can believe that she has been there.

  • I love her music - the way of life brings heart break but I just find the way to go on.

    Thanks Tammy

  • Czech version:

Karel Gott Než najdu způsob jak žít dál

  • My other favorite High Priestess of Twang - along with Emmylou

  • Nice one.

  • Later covered by Kenny Rogers & Dottie West. Great song, a great legendary singer & Hall Of Famer Tammy Wynette. R.I.P. We miss you. : )

  • She was my favorite country singer! She had so much heart and it came through in her songs!

  • The most gracious Lady. No wonder she was soo adored. I grew up listening to Tammy and George, as a couple, and Tammy solo. I saw Tammy in concert many yrs ago, and it truely all i thought it would and could be.. Her music will always live on, Thank you so much for posting, and alowing me to enjoy..

  • The undisputed all time queen of country!

  • Tammy Wynette brings back memories from when I was a kid and my parents would be listening to her. I never realized back then how great she is. It makes me cry to think she is gone...just like both of my parents.

  • No one should sing this song but Tammy. Such a singular,

    wholly irreplaceable voice; such vulnerability.

She knows what she is talking about, she lives it.

Her voice, her style are still so right, it is still her time.

  • That voice cuts right through me.....I love it !! thank you for posting :)

  • She could captivate an audience when she performed. I still love you Tammy, after all these years.

  • An angel while on earth - now an angel in heaven. We'll see you again in heaven someday Tammy. I still love you so after all these years.

  • Thank you my sweet friend...Love & Hugs Always ..Ann:))

  • Lord Have Mercy, rhis woman will bring you to your damm knees with that voice of hers. Im tellin you what God loves...and he dont love NOTHING but the Truth, dude.

Thanks so much for posting this for our enjoyment. Great vid sub'd ya, fav'd ya, rated ya, shared ya' too... have a nice weekend, timothy / oct

  • If you are a macho guy you have to watch this video by yourself, otherwise somebody will see the tears falling down.

  • You can see the pure heeartache as she sings this , god rest you Tammy !!

  • the first lady of country music is actually kitty wells...thats not debateable

  • What a genuine song, full of emotion and strength. She expressed some weakness in son, but with a real attitude of real human need. A strong person and fine entertainer. Bless her for that!!

  • She certainly had a way of expressing basic human emotion in song, and even though it seems a little needy or pathetic, it never came across that way. With Tammy she honestly expressed what we all feel at times in our lives. Bless you for that!

  • i love this song

  • i believe the original queen would be miss kitty wells and then patsy cline...thats not open for debate either.

  • thanks mathewmonty....

  • She was the queen

  • @TONYSPURSMAN

SHE WASN'T. I can't hear that (he writes with tears running down his cheeks)!

She IS the queen (or first lady) of Country music. I'm sorry but that's not open for debate.

R.I.P. Tammy, I love you so much,

  • @HR197

    I agree, buddy.

  • @HR197 I don't agree. I think it is open for debate, although I do like Tammy.

  • @HR197 you are so right. There will never be another lady like her

  • She is the queen of country....Her voice is amazing....She will always be remembered... The voice of an angel... God Bless Tammy Wynette!

  • @HR197 tammy you have the most beautiful voice.till i can make it on my own. is played over and over.and im touched every time i hear you sing it.

  • this song reminds me of when our dogs was suffering from a serious disease and how she struggled to live but despite the pain she was in she was a fighter and tammy u certainly were fighter your voice sends tingles down my spine even now you were a true star unlike some of the so called artists of today

  • Miss ya Tammy!

  • She is so awesome!!!!!

  • Simply the best female country singer of all time. Too bad she had a life filled with such turmoil and unhappiness. She leaves behind a legacy of uncomprable music that will be enjoyed for many years to come. Thanks for posting Tammy's music.

  • @DrBob43PA

Maybe you can think about her turmoil this way. When a soul is put into the press, it squeezes out the beauty.

  • blooming loved tammy rip

  • alway's been my fave female country singer, I grew up listening to her as a child with my mom at the tobacco barn, looping tobacco on a stick....awesome singer!, wish she were still here with that one of a kind unique voice....miss u Tammy.

  • pure magic

  • WOW, she was amazing. I guess I should say "is" because that talent will always be with us.

  • sing it Tammy

  • This song is so true! It will take time to get over you Stephen. I miss you so much! Come back to me! Thank you Tammy Wynette for such a great song!!

  • Okie Dokie. Me and Jose are going to make a comment. Taylor, Mirander, and even Faith. When you can stand and deliver like this Lady, with the emotion and the voice not to mention STYLE. Then you have just been given a pass that is undeserved. But, after all. I' m just a fan.

  • ♥♥♥

  • Loved Tammy all my life from the first album to her last. Saw her in concert four times and have LPs and CDs autographed by her. Her music will live on with me and be played till my time comes. A GREAT Lady in Country Music and terribly missed to this day.

  • @gerrythomas0602 I totally agree and I have the same feelings about Tammy she was true talent and never realized how big a star she was. I miss her greatly

  • There was no end to Tammy's talent or beauty. Can it really be 12 years without her?

  • R.I.P. TAMMY WINETTE

  • One reason she was known as The First Lady of country music

  • damn she was good!!!

  • This song kills me.

  • none better! she pulls at your heart ! God bless her

  • i miss her so much

  • i would make hermy wife andshe would be happy

  • verey good sing

  • She can make something that is as heart wrentching as a broken heart sound beautiful. That is what is missing in music today, the beauty and honesty.

  • @paigeky75

    I agree

  • @paigeky75

You are so right! Where are the ladies who can sing like this......gone.....

  • @tfergus920 The men too. There are a couple that I have heard who appear to be genuine, but it dosen't do them any good because radio won't play them. I am fortunate to have 2 classic country radio stations in my area. So I can still hear REAL music. If their parents don't play it for them the younger gereation won't know what good music is. And that is so sad. Thanks for the comment.

  • @paigeky75 none of the singers today come close to the magnitude of this lady..not today..not tomorrow....NOT!

  • @jekiwe Not ever. Loretta is fantastic but she's just not Tammy.

  • @jekiwe Agreed. Not then not now.

  • @paigeky75

    I agree

  • Don' t mean to sound unkind but, Ms Swift, you are a charming young lady. But country you' re not. Popyou are. When you can boast to be 10% as mgreat as Ms Wynette, then you may have a start.

  • Still Awesome!

  • Awsome song R.I.P Tammy
