  • alive every time WE hear him great loss to us alive but left us his music thanks to him and his family who continue to allow us to listen

  • If I was to meet Clifford in heaven I would thank him for his wonderful music. He was one of a kind and very underrated.

  • @jgfergus; I completely agree with you! Hopefully, when I enter Heaven, Clifford T. Ward will be the very first musician I will ask to meet. He was underrated and under-appreciated on Earth, and I know he's filling Heaven with his angelic voice and haunting, beautiful songs.

  • the KING is dead, but he lives on through his music-long live the king!!

  • @SuperCanuck777 You said it girl!

  • what a genius,i know all his songs,a modern day robert burns who puts his words to music, sadly gone but the best die young.

  • odd but still...sung beautifully

  • wonderful singer/songwriter, sadly missed.

  • Excellent combo...Gay Byrne introducing Clifford T Ward

  • A sort of younger Gay Byrne to the one I knew, doing a modest little laugh at one of the song titles being his name...

When was this. Must be 70s footage, no?

CTW an amazing guy. Odd song though. He often sounds as if he's reading from his diary or something - even Homethoughts is like that.

Certainly marks him out as something different.

  • I think this was about 1984-5

  • a bit surreal , possum !

  • This is grower, heard it twice now.

  • Such a great song writer! Should be made an anthem for any worhwhile charity! Someone should pick up on this!
