It's hard to believe that ten years later he would have worked with some of the most respected musicians of rock and metal and would be fronting his own massively popular band. Ronnie accomplished so much in his life.
greatest metal singer, for sure!,but could be called great in any format,to call him one in a million would be selling him way short,we will NEVER hear such power and control from a singer again! HE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!
Farewell Ronnie, a part of my life ever since this song was released. I'm getting a tatt of this frog to always remember you. Has anyone got any decent art of the frog from this clip?
On sunday the 16th of may 2010, the singer of this beautifull song died of cancer, Ronnie James Dio RIP. A great (hard)rock singer died. We all will remember you Ronnie.
Heard this on the radio the other night. Yes, as stated below it was used as a filler on Australian-wide ABC tv in late 70s and 80s. Love it! I had no idea 'til now that it was Roger Glover with Dio, whom I later became fans of! :-)
I heard this on the radio the other night in Australia as part of a countdown of all time great hits from the 70's. And after seeing the video on here, this used to play as a filler clip between programs on Australia's ABC Network back when I was a kid in the 80's. Good to see after all these years it hasn't lost its catchy charm.
@pantherslair I remember this clip used to play all the time on the ABC, along with that Bach instrumental piece fused with Prog Rock from "Sky" and that morris-dancing clip from Mike Oldfield...remember those ?!? Awesome.
I loved DIO as the frog in this cartoon.
