I am sorry for your loss. Both of my brothers are in Iraq. One we dont talk to because he disowned us after he was married. My other brother is lucky, he wont have to go back for his 3ed tour tell his 8 month old daughter is about 2.

This is not the way things are supposed to happen. I have a 24 year old son and I can't fathom the thought of losing him. I just can't understand war. I look at this young couple in the the video and it takes my breath away. What a tragedy! Thanks to Shawn (Drizzle) for sharing this experience.

I was in 2/7 Cav with Lt. Daily. I was in D co while he was in C co. I didn't know him very well, but every time I saw him he always had a smile on his face. I'll never forget that terrible week. Or the sound of Taps at the memorial services we held for those four and the 2 others we lost in that week. My friend Nicholas Brown was one of them. I'll never forgive myself that men like him died, and I didn't.

Thank you again Brad for your excellent work! This post made me cry. I've had a front row seat to the aftermath of his death and the impact its had on his wife and family. Knowing how simply amazing they are makes it only that much worse. Please don't ever wish death on yourself. The best way to honor Mark is to live a worthy life.
