In other words HOW are the temperatures arrived at; even WHERE are the temperatures taken; and then, very importantly, at those places where the temperatures were measured, have there been any "unnatural" environmental changes that would suggest a cause for increased temperatures, other than "climate change"?

There has been a temp increase. 2005 was warmer than 1998. January 2000 to December 2009 was the warmest decade on record.

Not all the other planets are warming but for those that are the reason for their warming is planet specific. The sun doesn't explain current warming because the sun has shown no long term trend since 1950.

2005 was warmer than 1998. That is a temperature increase. The past decade was warmer than the decade that preceded it. That is a temperature increase.

If one year increase or one decade increase does not constitute an increase what would would you consider an increase?

What increased solar activity are you talking about? This is when you need to cite a source.

I am a scientist in the statistics/cancer research field. If someone in my field had done this, they would be blacklisted from receiving any sort of government funding for several years.

The main greenhouse gases in the Earth's atmosphere are water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone. In our solar system, the atmospheres of Venus, Mars and Titan also contain gases that cause greenhouse effects. Dust and earth are just materials. Nature doesn't care what is healthy or not; we do and we breath in and out what we can handle only.

We don't build hospitals or put our patients inside factory gases exhaust chambers. It is a common sense we all know now-a-day.

There needs to be mandatory passing of science tests for all Congress members. Failure means eliminating their right to vote on critical science-based issues such as climate change and relation pollution and carbon emissions regulations.
