i guess thats why mostly every 6 sec muscle drag car needs to be rebuilt after a few pases when alot of imports can dont. i believe a few records are put down by a supra thats a garage built and is daily driven

Sadly b18... that is true... lol People dont realise how much Muscle needs to be rebuilt after a race... In my cousins dodge charger after 3 races on average we need to replace 1 or two of the 4 Carbs... after a whole day he spends about 10k on the car alone just to get it ready for the next race

As for the whole "rebuilt" wtf are you talking about? nothing has to be rebuilt after 8 passes. you think people are designing their cars to go down the track 8 times and then quit? the cars are built for drag they can go down the strip until the gas station goes dry.

i didnt say i see the in person, but look at youtube, how many supras out there are running 1000+hp without much modifications to the block? there is a 7 sec drag supra that still has the stock transmission in it! you sound like a little high school because of the fact you said imports dont make big powerful engines, yet toyota has now recently made a v8 and v10 putting out more power than ANY muscle car from the factory, NA

Sure they have their modles As in the Supra or the Integra Type R... But even those need the people that know what they are doing... my main argument is that a true ricer does not know alot about cars... when a tuner owns the car Its a complete different story...
