There is a massive amount of difference between appropriate dialog and excessive dialog.

He encouraged you to pick up a copy, he didn't say "Burn it and step on it" Think before you type.

@SluggerJR He may have been a professional reviewer when these games came out, but nowadays anyone can be a reviewer with youtube/blogspot. Quite frankly some people who do it there are much more adequate at their "profession" than their professional counterparts. I've seen nvgtr's reviews, calling a game or its features stupid or dumb is a sure fire way to be discredited, there are better words that can be used to describe a game.

@SluggerJR Granted I liked ToD when it came out, it was pretty much the standard in RPGs, (you really couldn't call them JRPGs back then.) I do recall the game having a bit more dialogue than other RPGs.To be honest though I'd hate it now, as I do most JRPGs.

His reviews need work. I'd be more than willing to help him by critiquing his work and proofreading his reviews. His comedy however is absolutely atrocious, though. There is a difference between doing a job, and doing it half ass.

he seems to loath RPGs because they follow RPG standards, and yet he said "if you love RPGs like us..." what the hell does he define as an RPG? Has he ever found an RPG w/o dialogue? Where you just hacked and slashed your way through the level? Maybe he thinks games like Final Fight are RPGs? I dunno, I give up.
