I remember reading that book in class and the teacher tried to take it from me which resulted in a tug-of-war, paper cuts, and a trip to the principal's office :) I love my Harry Potter
I didn't get to read HP7 all at once. My dad insisted that we needed to read it out loud, as a family, because we'd done that with all the other books, and I had to wait like a month and a half to hear the ending. It was terrible.
I was crying my eyes out by like page 3. And then George made the holy joke. I think I laughed for 3 hours. I also posted the joke on fb. :) I think I'll name my kids Severus Sirius, Fred Albus and Alabaster George. (Ik he doesn't die but I -3 him)
i stayed up reading until 6 am the next day but then i went to sleep right after fred died because i didn't want my mom to catch me still up as she got ready for work. haha. i looked mad nasty after that day.
Oh Lord. I read it for the first time last month, and I cried several times. :( When Harry is facing his death - seriously. I cried WITH SOUND. That's rare for me. I also cried when it was over. The end. Nothing more. Finito. :( I have kinda lost my motivation to read something new. No more Harry. It's not fair at all.
Hey! Want to be in an awesome vlog similar to 5ag and 5ab? Well audition on our page and you can be! maybe. if you are awesome enough :) jk, but seriously, go audition!
my brother got the book at about 3 AM (our book store had always been so run over by patrons that you have to go the week before to get a ticket to go inside), and didn't go to sleep until he finished it, at about 8 or 9 am. I got it after him because he had been into HP for longer than I.
I read the book the DAY it came out...I'm not the emotional type for movies OR books...But I seriusly started tearing up when Dobby died...The I started bawling because it's all over...No more waiting endless months for the next book. It's over, forever, and I can't do anything about it. Fred getting killed really took a toll on me...I was ever so delighted to find Harry and Ginny marry, but then again I realized it was the end and sad tears flowed once again...Am I seriously this pathetic?
I bawled like a mad woman during Deathly Hallows! Dobby getting stabbed, Fred being killed, Snape getting killed, Teddy, the orphan kid, Harrys talk with his parents, Lupin (I think!) and Sirius mad me have a fit. I LOVED IT ALL THOUGH!
I just finished re-reading the entire HP series again and at the end of DH I was like "time for the next one ... wait ..." I then had an "emo moment" where I went into my room and stared at the first book to the last book.
This book still makes me sad when I finish it because I know that the series is finished.
i totally get it...like its ridiculous how many times i just stopped and stared into space while reading this book...i would just lay it down nd be like "no way....."
It's OVER! I got the 6th book when I was 8 but didn't read it UNTIL the fateful day that I was in the library, bored, as a nerdy 10 year old girl, and decided "Well, you know what? I'm a nerd anyway, so screw it all." and picked up a Harry Potter book. From that day forth, I was officially obsessed. =D
Hmm... I am so happy I picked the last day of my summer vacation to watch every single hayleyghoover video. You made my depression disappear today. =)
i like made noises out loud when i was reading HP, im not even kidding. and im ususally a very understated person when it comes to literature or watching movies. but i was like "nooooo" when (spoiler) fred died and i was like (spoiler) FINALLYYYYYY when ron and hermione kissed. jk rowling is a fucking miracle worker.
me too!! like when *SPOILER* dobby died i couldn't even see the words on the page for a good five minutes. i was just bawling so much. aw i'm starting to tear up. lol
me too, at first i was utterly shell-shocked and didn't move, read it again, looked for a loophole, then burst out crying. my mom thought i was like being murdered or something :-)
I was upset about snape dying- i cried for like twenty minutes- he would have been the coolest teacher- but not when he was humiliating you- he was hilarious humiliating others
ok here's a list of people who died 1.Hedwig 2.Mad Eye Moody 3.Snape 4.Fred 5.Lupin 6.Tonks 7.Voldemort Wow she killed off 7 people for the 7th book WAIT 1 MORE 8.Colin Creevy
My 'I finished HP' video is mainly me crying saying "Why? Why does it have to be over! Noooooo". My time was about 8:30am July 21st to 4am July 22nd. I literally didn't put it down.
haha omg my friend is trying to read it and there were videos all over youtube and stuff that said the ending so i like slip out fake information about the ending to get her mad ... haha its so funny
I read from like 12:20 [in the car!] to about 10 am. With friends. I was second to finish. Poor Ashley, who is a slow reader, got a lot spoiled for her. Lol. The last chapter felt like fan fiction. Siriusly.
I wanted to read through the night, but I'd just come home from a missions trip literally two hours before, and I passed out. And I know... I can't talk to my brother or sister for a week. :)
