  • I cried 4 times when I read this book :'(

But I've still read it 37 times :) xx

  • Dead little elf :(

  • I remember reading that book in class and the teacher tried to take it from me which resulted in a tug-of-war, paper cuts, and a trip to the principal's office :) I love my Harry Potter

  • @SSdetectiveagency that is epic

  • @jamerikan5689 totally so :)

  • I cried at the end, I really didn't want it to end... :(

  • i've read the entire series 37 times.

and it still surprises me every time.

  • Fred dies? NO WAY! :(

  • I remember when I finished the series.... I'm still depressed. I wish i could unread it just so that I can read it again

  • I was most upset about Fred and Remus. ;(

  • i hardly came out of my room when i read that book - i came out for meals very sniffly.

  • @Onami3 I didn't even come out for meals, I just stockpiled junkfood and fruit around me and stayed in my room for two days

  • @randomriter1 hahah i would have liked to, but my mother was not pleased and it was faster to quickly gulp down some food than argue with her.

  • I didn't get to read HP7 all at once. My dad insisted that we needed to read it out loud, as a family, because we'd done that with all the other books, and I had to wait like a month and a half to hear the ending. It was terrible.

  • this is EXACTLY what happened to everyone simultaniusly

  • hayleyghoover, iloveyouu(:

    youure awesome lol.

im deff a diff girl since i started reading youur online mag.

    thankss so much(:

  • dobby :'( *sniff*

  • Pen island

  • I miss Harry Potter... :(

  • EPIC.

  • Watching this brings back reading those last pages 3 years ago, then sobbing after finishing the book because it was over.

  • Iv never been so moved by a series of books. And ive read A LOT of books.

haha my shirt was tear soaked after i watched the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1

I sat in the theatre for a good three minutes before my friends woke me up from my weird "trance" i had after the movie lmao

  • SNAPE! :(

  • I was crying my eyes out by like page 3. And then George made the holy joke. I think I laughed for 3 hours. I also posted the joke on fb. :) I think I'll name my kids Severus Sirius, Fred Albus and Alabaster George. (Ik he doesn't die but I -3 him)

  • how much have i cried in HP?

    Serius, i miss youu!!!

how can JK Rowling kill off all of my favourite characters?- i need to have a chat with her...

New HP film deathY hallows part 1 is AWESOME!

  • I was re-reading the series, and spent four hours this morning finishing number seven. Now I feel strangely empty inside...

  • I know its bad but...I have a confession. I ripped the pages where Fred and Severus die out of a library book. I still have those pages. (number 11)

  • i stayed up reading until 6 am the next day but then i went to sleep right after fred died because i didn't want my mom to catch me still up as she got ready for work. haha. i looked mad nasty after that day.

  • haha.. I take it that the book was boring....

    :P

  • Oh Lord. I read it for the first time last month, and I cried several times. :( When Harry is facing his death - seriously. I cried WITH SOUND. That's rare for me. I also cried when it was over. The end. Nothing more. Finito. :( I have kinda lost my motivation to read something new. No more Harry. It's not fair at all.

And all the killings. NO :O Tonks.. :(

  • Oh, I remeber finishing it. I sat and just stared in to the wall like an hour after and felt like my life was over. That's not okey....

  • I fucking nearly killed myself when Dobby died :P :|

  • Moody music ftw- omg I just saw the end! Haaaa! :P

  • my brother got the book at about 3 AM (our book store had always been so run over by patrons that you have to go the week before to get a ticket to go inside), and didn't go to sleep until he finished it, at about 8 or 9 am. I got it after him because he had been into HP for longer than I.

  • I read the book the DAY it came out...I'm not the emotional type for movies OR books...But I seriusly started tearing up when Dobby died...The I started bawling because it's all over...No more waiting endless months for the next book. It's over, forever, and I can't do anything about it. Fred getting killed really took a toll on me...I was ever so delighted to find Harry and Ginny marry, but then again I realized it was the end and sad tears flowed once again...Am I seriously this pathetic?

  • I loved it. My heart was beating so fast right at the end with Harry and Voldy.

  • I bawled like a mad woman during Deathly Hallows! Dobby getting stabbed, Fred being killed, Snape getting killed, Teddy, the orphan kid, Harrys talk with his parents, Lupin (I think!) and Sirius mad me have a fit. I LOVED IT ALL THOUGH!

    :)

  • emotionally drained. that is how i felt. harry walking to his death, snape and lily, hagrid crying, colin creevy, talking to james and remus

it all just got too much

my mum thought the dog was howling. it was me

  • I carved my times into my wall! I started at 1:32 A.M. and I finished at 9:07 P.M.

  • Fuckin Hilarious lol where are you from? And how do you do all those impressions without laughing???

  • haley ilove your videos they are so funny

  • When I read Deathly Hallows I didn't feel the need to do trivial things like eat or sleep or pee.

  • I just finished re-reading the entire HP series again and at the end of DH I was like "time for the next one ... wait ..." I then had an "emo moment" where I went into my room and stared at the first book to the last book.

This book still makes me sad when I finish it because I know that the series is finished.

    I LOVE HP!

  • I finished it in like 4 hours.

    I STOPPED FOR NOTHING!!!

I have never ever cried so much.

  • This just crushed me. I bawled my eyes out for a good hour after I finished this book... I've never done anything like that before.

  • i totally get it...like its ridiculous how many times i just stopped and stared into space while reading this book...i would just lay it down nd be like "no way....."

  • i sterted reading on like 4th april....and then finished n 6th june....i didnt get time to read most of it in one day

  • begun at 112 am, finished 12 noon the next day.

  • i feel you

  • haha that's how i felt.

  • harry potter. likkke., harry potter and the deathly potters. and she turned the last page. and she was sad. (:

  • Personally, I was disappointed and sad. The epilogue sucked. But sad that the books ended. :(

  • oh really? i loved the epilogue. i cried for days after it was over.

  • started 12.30 am july 21 2007 finshed 4.20 pm July 21 2007.... possibly the most emotional day of my life...

  • started at 1pm on July 16, 2007... then finished at 10.30pm on the same day.

  • ugh. i started around 4 am july 22 and finished at 3 pm. the joys of working at barnes and noble...

  • i would do anything to work at barnes and nobels! or borders, or elsewhere, u r very lucky!

  • Brilliant.

I remember I was EXTREMLY depressed when Fred died.

I love Fred - he was the best!!

  • @GOTHICxxPRINCESSxx Fred [and George] was my fave throughout the books, and I went into a two month depression when he died....

  • =(

It's OVER! I got the 6th book when I was 8 but didn't read it UNTIL the fateful day that I was in the library, bored, as a nerdy 10 year old girl, and decided "Well, you know what? I'm a nerd anyway, so screw it all." and picked up a Harry Potter book. From that day forth, I was officially obsessed. =D

Hmm... I am so happy I picked the last day of my summer vacation to watch every single hayleyghoover video. You made my depression disappear today. =)

  • I cried for a day after I read the last word. SO SAD.

  • i dont remember what time i finished the book

because i was about an hour away from Seattle or Canada on a plane

however i did get the book 30mins before the US release because i was in Japan

    :]

  • lol I filmed myself on my cellphone finishing up the book, too. :) I cried like 5 times and laughed like 20. Life-altering book, that is.

  • i was laughing my ass off when molly killed bellatrix! :D

  • i like made noises out loud when i was reading HP, im not even kidding. and im ususally a very understated person when it comes to literature or watching movies. but i was like "nooooo" when (spoiler) fred died and i was like (spoiler) FINALLYYYYYY when ron and hermione kissed. jk rowling is a fucking miracle worker.

  • ik I'm stopped reading for like 10 minutes when (spolier)(<-lol) Fred died b/c how upset I was.

  • me too!! like when *SPOILER* dobby died i couldn't even see the words on the page for a good five minutes. i was just bawling so much. aw i'm starting to tear up. lol

  • me too, at first i was utterly shell-shocked and didn't move, read it again, looked for a loophole, then burst out crying. my mom thought i was like being murdered or something :-)

  • that was definitely what i was like too.

  • That was the BEST book(:

  • I was upset about snape dying- i cried for like twenty minutes- he would have been the coolest teacher- but not when he was humiliating you- he was hilarious humiliating others

  • It's OVER. :(

I still can't believe it, 10 months later.

    *is sad*

  • Omg. ur like my mirror image

  • Omg I Remember Reading It And I Burst Into Tears At The End!

  • And one more victim of this unspeakable disease that have been tormenting young readers.

this moment was offered by: MadVed, the incurable. :D

  • ah fucking kiss me!

    you're so hott!

and i'm a girl.. it's so freaking weird. ah. you definately are not normal for doing this to me!

  • and Dobby?

  • But I was crushed by the losses... Hedwig hit me the hardest. Am I crazy?

  • No me too! Except for a second when I thought Hagrid was gone (that was worse).

  • Oh my god... I know!!! But Hedwig...

    -cries just a little-

  • I loved it too....

  • omgsh i cried soooooo much when fred died

he was like...my harry potter lover lol =P

  • I finished mine in a starbucks.... when I closed the book I looked around and EVERYWHERE I saw thick yellow books being read. it was pretty awesome!

    dftba

  • lmao when she fell of the chair at the end XD

  • lol?

  • My reaction exactly. Except alot more tears were involved. And in between the tears, i would yell "FRED! Remus! NOOOOOOOO"

    I really scared my mom...

  • That's pretty much what I did, as well. XD Glad to know other people did that as well!

  • I so did not mean to put "as well" at the end of those sentences. :P

  • I bet you were thinking "all was well," since you were talking about the end of HP7. :)

  • That's it. :D

  • Yes, well I have a feeling it was a pretty common reaction.

  • i didnt like it so much that part when they are grown up.and so many dead people. i hope that JKR makes another book.

you are beutiful by the way(Princess)

  • EXACTLy how I felt.

I think part of me died when I read the last sentence.

    I was like "...Now what?"

So then I read it again ;p

  • My 'I finished HP' video is mainly me crying saying "Why? Why does it have to be over! Noooooo". My time was about 8:30am July 21st to 4am July 22nd. I literally didn't put it down.

  • she died cuz my pic was on the page she looked at and im so stunnin she died :L

  • This video is simply amazing, I just can't stop watching it!

    You're perfect!

    *-*

I had the same look that's upon your face when I reached the very end...

I just didn't know what to do... it was so... so... "falling-off-the-chair"...

    You're amazing! Really amazing...

In a 19 seconds video you could pass everything most fans felt when reached the "all was well"!

    You're brilliant!

    *-*

  • lmao the same thing happened to me - exepts that i was lying in my bed, so i couldn't fall off my chair :)

  • wait...WHAT??

  • I got my copy at about 1 AM on July 21, 2007, I finished at around 12 PM on July 23, 2007.

I was weak, I went to sleep.

  • lmao!

  • ha That was great. I'm pretty sure I had a similar expression on my face.

  • What kind of name is Scorpius?!Haha.

  • i know1it's like what were you thinking when you named your child?

  • hoty hot hoty!

  • I've never seen anyone react to the line "All was well" like that before.

  • yay I finished! I definitely took way longer but I couldn't buy it till Tuesday and work and stuff got in the way of speed reading. haha

  • this was funny

  • Somehow I missed the end the first time I watched this. That is totally what I did though.

  • ahhha. i'm done! :D

*Doesnt wanna post a spoiler* wtf..a kid named albus snivelous?

  • I'm totally naming my child Severus.

  • And i'm totaly naming my kid Hugo. *smirk8

  • Hahaha poor kid.

  • i have to say, thats better than my friend steve who's gonna name his first five children Jimmy....

  • @hayleyghoover You could call him Sevvie :)

  • I was so into it I finished it in 8 hours

  • I started at 1am on the 21st and ended at 10pm on the 21st. Same day!

  • I cried when I finished it. I was just overjoyed and saddened by the fact that it's all...over.

  • you finished the harry potter book already!?

haha omg my friend is trying to read it and there were videos all over youtube and stuff that said the ending so i like slip out fake information about the ending to get her mad ... haha its so funny

  • I read from like 12:20 [in the car!] to about 10 am. With friends. I was second to finish. Poor Ashley, who is a slow reader, got a lot spoiled for her. Lol. The last chapter felt like fan fiction. Siriusly.

  • Yeah... yeah it did. It was very sappy and sitcom-fluffy, but I loved it all the same.

  • Same. I lovedd it. Except for the strange names.

  • it was soooooo sad! but freaking amazing!

  • LOL! you are too funny

  • Omg; my mom was being a biotch and didn't let me get it until today. I actually got it about five hours ago. Halfway done. ;D

  • I wanted to read through the night, but I'd just come home from a missions trip literally two hours before, and I passed out. And I know... I can't talk to my brother or sister for a week. :)

  • I just bought it today and I wonder if it's even worth reading now.

  • ABSOFRIGGINGLUTELY.

  • You Are My Freakin Hero! The Book Was So Glorious! I Can't Believe This Is The End!

  • wow...i still have a smidge left to go..! ahhh

  • I was too scared to go online (or leave my room, for that matter) because I knew somebody'd be out to ruin it for me. And I was right, of course, since some terrible person's been leaving spoiling comments all over youtube. :(

Let me know when you're done so we can have a mass discussion!

  • AHH!1 i know. i havent been on line for about..1 day. but i gave in bcz i've got like..50 pgs or so to read! :D
