That's NS 238 because 228 doesn't run up the Piedmont Division. 228 runs up the Atlanta North District. Nice vid btw.

How do you guys know the train numbers, example, the 238 etc?

You can tell by the kind of train ie. intermodal like this one and then the containers on it and also the time of day. Thats just me though. A lot of people have scanners and they can hear the radio chatter.

That looks like a 238 to Charleston, SC, he usually has more colored containers.
