I once saw a license plate that read "10COWIFE" and had NO idea what it meant until I saw this charming movie. A young lady I know was talking about how she and her boyfriend were getting pretty serious, and I told her to make sure he had nine cows because she was worth at least ten. She laughed and smiled, so I know she'd seen this, too.

What's the meaning of the expression "if she is worth a hoof" it's the same to say "if you can put a price to her"?

The point is that Johnny loved her since she was a child. How she looked was secondary. But her "beauty" shone through once she understood she was loved by Johnny, once she felt valued. She went from feeling worthless to knowing she was worth more than she could have imagined.

Very cute movie. Mahanna really was very pretty, but her dad made her feel crappy, so she didn't take care of herself. But when Johnny came he made her feel special, so shetook care of herself. I want a man as sweet as johnny!!!!

Man, this movie brought back some memories! My family moved to Australia when I was 5 from New Zealand. Every time we would go back for a holiday we were only ever allowed to watch 'wholesome' videos at my aunty's house on a Sunday, so all we ever wanted to watch was the Jonny Lingo movie. Thanx for posting it and if you don't get the message in this movie you need to try just a little bit harder!
