For now, he has proven to be the greatest tennis star! His body suffers wear for playing too many matches because he tends to win! But the injury Rafa suffers is tendinitis of the rotula which is a common non serious injury in sport. Roddick also has tendinitis and other current players.

To make some corrections, Federer has played 10 years of Grand Slam Tennis, not 13 (if you want to be super technical he's played as a pro for 11 years). And yes, 1 title at Roland Garros. 1 title he achieved after defeating Nadal on clay, in a final, in Spain, while demolishing Soderling, who easily beat Nadal in the fourth round. It's a surface Federer never learned on previous to becoming a professional. So yea Fed lost a few times to a player who grew up on clay...
