So true, I hate the thought of losing the quality of medical care that we have. With the exception of some specialists like oral surgeons, I can usually get an emergency appointment and see a Family Practitioner or Dentist with-in hours of my phone call.
BTW - Cool to hear about the other stuff you do.

I don't know too much about Canada's system, but i've had to wait up to 8 hours in an American emergency room, and I have gone to a clinic and been told I can't be seen today because they filled their "quota" of MedicAid patients. The healthcare debate does not need to be "capitalism or communism", it can be simply about making the best system and if instead of using greed to motivate us in all aspects of the system, if we could simply try to help our fellow man I think that wouldn't be so bad

this happened to me 3 or 4 times and all of those times anti inflams and vicodin helped alot, Until the last time when my discs ruptured and pinched off my spinal cord. Instant paralysis on my left side from about the waist down. It was correct with surgery and ive regained SOME. Be careful spinal/disc injuries can be terrible.
Back pain sucks. The worst is trying to sleep with back pain. I haven't lifted weights for over seven years now, but I try to do other things to keep up my health.
Damn, last time I had vicodin I they pulled my wisdom teeth out. Mmm vicodin! That stuff is amazing, but it kicked my butt! I have a pinched nerve in the small of my back, when I stand, sit, or laydown I get numbness all down my spine muscles. Sometimes it get so bad, when I stand at attention I can't feel my legs, or feet. I went to the chiroprocter, but that was 6mobths ago, and it numbness came back twice as fast, and more intense.
