  • I think so, too. Korean driver should drive more carefully. By the way, did you hold the video camera when you driving a motorcycle? I think it is very very dangerous..

  • what weird streets. nothing like the u.s.

  • lol you have alot of freetime? :)

  • Haha! Cool! :)

I wished I saw a traffic crash in real life and got it on tape!

  • so many hundayis

  • WTF ? I want see the War, the red army all this shit and not Trafic Accidents!

  • Dont be stupid

  • : ( Korea....

  • tosser

  • Thanks for all the cool bits about traffic accidents and a little about life in Korea.

  • for fuck sakes, BORING AS HELL

  • That was interesting. Thanks

  • If you think Korea is bad try driving in some of the Central American countries, it will make driving in Korea look like a breeze.

  • Many people think that when they visit (or reside) in a foreign country the drivers there are the worst in the world. If you haven't traveled much and do not have anything to compare it to then it may seem that way. There are so many people and travel guides that claim the country that they are visiting or describing has the worst drivers and most car accidents. It's hard to really say for sure because quite a few times in third world countries, accidents are not reported.

  • As far as yelling at someone when they cause an accident or they are a poor driver, this happens in ALL countries including the U.S. I think you showed us that in the beginning of the video.

  • Your a moron.

  • good..video..^^ i'm Korean..live seoul..my motorcycle is VMAX..^^ i can not speak english..you come to seoul...call me.. meet our peaple^^ our home page is vmax1200 dot com bye

  • Thanks for the ride. Interesting about the markings.

  • you now it's a bunch of lies, don't you?

  • shut up!!!

  • hehe Pusan...I've been there. I was born in Seoul, lived there till I was in grade 6, then moved to Canada. What do you do in Pusan?

  • Thankyou for the video mate! That was really interesting. I agree with the last post, I definitely enjoyed the ride. heh. Cheers.

  • Thankyou, we enjoyed the ride with you.

  • dude your awesome. how did you live in korea? you live in pusan?

  • You Son OF A!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA i couldn't stop repeating wahaha

  • As I said earlier in the comment thread: Well.. it was sort of pointless... me shouting with a closed face... shield in English...to a Korean driver...with rolled up windows... 40 feet away...so i didn't bother finishing the sentence.

  • where do you work and what do you do?

  • FUCK NORTH KOREA!!

  • Yes. North Korea does suck. But what does that have to do with a video in South Korea?

  • Korea is a cool country

  • It's a great country.... but a lot of drivers really really suck.

  • im korean..and i thought driving in NY was bad

    lol

  • well.. if people would just stop running red lights, life would be much easier here.

  • Haha "you son of a"

  • Well.. it was sort of pointless... me shouting with a closed face... shield in English...to a Korean driver...with rolled up windows... 40 feet away...so i didn't bother finishing the sentence.

  • Very cool, and sorry about your accident.

    Mr.FireAss

  • Thanks.. Yeah.. wasn't much a joy for me.

  • reeal bad video

  • Real bad spelling.

  • another 8 and a half minutes waste of my life...what a lame vid...

  • don't forget to add the time it took you to type this message, both of which you did willingly, which takes you to a completely new level of lameness.

  • Ma quanto cazzo parla! noioso...

  • I know there: Cheonghak-dong → HomePlus Supermarket Yeongdo Branch → Yeongdo Grand Bridge → Nampo-dong Subway Station → Busan Post Office(u-turn) → Nampo-dong Subway Station.......

I live in Yeongseon-dong in Yeongdo Island.

  • It is Yeongdo Island!! I live this island.

  • Haha.. Me too!

  • damn bro.... sorry to hear that...

    you okay now tho?

  • Getting there.. slowly but surely.

  • is this safe

  • Probably not.

  • lol man i like that!

  • Thanks.

  • That was very informational, thanks for that...

    thats really neat..

I was scared for you the whole video thinking you were gonna be the next "motorcycle guy outlined in paint", lol....

  • well... less than 48 laters, my bike was outlined in paint and I was in the hospital for 3 months.

  • lol, u serious?

  • Very serious. look at some of my other videos from the hospital. :)

  • really?

  • Unfortunately. Bad Karma. I don't talk about accidents any more.

  • jeee do they have any other foreign cars other than those ugly hyundais and daewoos

  • Kias....

  • hey by the way is the traffic that bad in every korean city

  • Yes....if not worse....

  • why are you following that white car

  • Because it happens to be in front of me... and going the same way.

  • thanks for the ride dude, feels like im sitting at the back :)

  • You had been in Busan city located in the south of Korea. Joongang-dong ranks the highest accidental rate in Busan city.I find new accident marking every morning there. I recommend you do not drive there.

  • haha.. I have to drive in Joongang-dong to get to my office. :)

  • You know, I will never get to Korea, and not only did I find this informative about another culture, I also really liked the tour the narrator gave. Thanks for posting!

  • You're welcome. Hope you enjoy the others as well.

  • this video is a waste of time !!

  • Cool video! ^^

  • I enjoyed watching this video, cool seeing them makings on the ground and seeing a little of Korea, Thanks!

  • Good insight to Korean traffic. Funny when you got horned lol

  • how the fuck do u know that korea has the highest number in traffic accident...u just made that up aye...

  • How the fuck do I know? There's this fucking thing called fucking research. For fucking example, according to the 2006 edition of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Factbook, Korea was placed second for car accidents, with 147 car accidents per 1 million people in 2004. Korea was number 1 the year before.

  • Thanks for posting the video, very interesting, and sorry to read about your crash, hope you get well soon.

I too am interested in traffic accident statistics, because over here in Saudi Arabia, we often hear that the worst rate is right here; currently quoting us 16 deaths per day. There are many ways to read the numbers, deaths per population, deaths per distance travelled. Saudi Arabia does not contribute to the IRTAD. If you know of any sources for comparsion figures, thanks, John

  • Saudi Arabia doesn't contribute to the IRTAD? Interesting. I know people here in Korea that have lived in Saudi and they seem to think that driving in Saudi is much more dangerous that driving in Korea. I don't know if you saw my earlier reply to a comment."According to the 2006 edition of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Factbook, Korea was placed second for car accidents, with 147 car accidents per 1 million people in 2004. Korea was number 1 the year before."

  • go fuck yourself

  • Well I live in Korea too, am not an english teacher and there was no real criticism in this video. Not many people around the world know how bloody dangerous is to ride in Korea. Both korean riders and drivers are terrible and this is proven to be a lethal combination. Great roads in Korea though, specially close to the East Sea, Sokcho etc.

  • I'm glad I'm not an English teacher. I would be forced to punch myself in the face on principle.

  • Interesting journey.

Why do you get so excited when you see the body markings? :P

  • yeah... well... after wrapping my bike around a pole less than 48 hours after making this video, I'm not so excited about it now.

  • "that literally knocked him out of his shoes." lmao nice

  • WTF WTF WTF

  • Just a normal day around town. :)

  • lol the guy went a red light

  • yeah. total jerk. I accidentally deleted your other comment about marks....

if two cars are involved, they will mark the corners of the cars so that the cars can move and not block traffic. I assume the mark the position of the bodies so that they can know the position of the body after the accident for criminal investigations and other reasons.

  • Is your camera on your chest?

  • My camera is velcroed to the chin guard of my full face helmet and wedged between my face and the helmet's face shield.

  • that voice.... you are from The Simpsons right????

  • ha...

  • This is lots of fun going along for the ride with you.:) Thanks. I can't wait to go on the real ride through Busan in 2 months as I am going there to teach English. would like to find something more along the lines of business related career, just gotta make sure I pick a situation that appears successful. I still yet to learn the ropes of living & driving there. I expect some really funny situations. Just don't wanna get knocked out of my shoes at any point!LMAO :)

  • well.. I will be out of the hospital and on the road in about three month.... i HOPE! Get yourself a big bike and let's hit the road.

  • Sorry to hear about your accident, ouch. When riding on bikes(never been on a hog yet), I always worried bout' hitting sand, wetness, or ice in turns which drives me crazy so I have to slow down. I am interested in getting something small and economical to ride around, mostly for country rural small town travel to go on trout and bass fishing/camping trips and to sight see around. I hope you get well soon and be more careful.

  • nicely done, i liket it. :)

Be safe out there and watch out for some idiot using the cell phone and driving.

  • Yeah... well.. ironicly enough, less than 48 hours later, I had my own painting on the road... Maybe talking too much about accidents brought some bad mojo... I don't know, but two days later, I ended up in the hospital for 5 weeks with a shattered femur. You can see that on other videos I have done.

  • Hi pusanguy, sorry i didn't write you before. I hope you are more healthy by now after the accident, and cruising around town once again and making some more videos! i really like this one. Well, like i say, hope to see some more of your videos soon, be careful this time! Remember, it's a jungle out there!

  • I'm going to try that tonight. The engine alone is loud enough to overmodulate the mic at times. I have to find the sweet spot between talking too loudly and talking loud enough to be heard over the engine.

  • Heh.. I looked at it again this morning... there are about 5 circles total around the body and scooter... Only one is marked "shoe". The others are unlabled. I don't know if they were circling items he was carrying or what. I don't think they were circling blood splotches, body parts, or shell casings...
