I've run several RCs (Mini T, Micro T, RC18T, Lunchbox) on the beach, I find as long as you keep it close to the water where the sand is a little wet they run just fine. I ran the Mini-T by the ocean for years and it runs today. You can even buy waterproof electronics now but I have yet to mess with that. My friend did screw up his car (an old Tamiya) by getting sand in the gearbox.
@xmodssouth i have a 4x4 electric RC car. youd be surprised how resiliant these little things can be. i sealed up all the electronics on mine except for the motor (motors arent affected by water). i would literally submerge my rc car underwater, driving under the ice. like a fish. and then pop right back up through the surface and on water like nothing happend. water is simply a cunductor. it will only damage electronics if it creates a short to a spot that would burn the circuits.

genius we sacrifise a micro rc to the ocean and we pretend nothing happened and while we're at it stick another 150 in the toilet and flush

@xmodssouth
to you and all other guys....this micro-T is still running!!! after those false just take normal drink-water on it and dry it in the sun...
so, no 70$ and absolutly no 150$ for the toilet!

@CUBEismus ok I was joking on the toilet and those things are hobby grade they can take a hit or two
