  • I can remember asking my mother if it was okay for me to visit ... she said research it to be sure ... I remember when my mother got a magazine in the mail called Midnight Velvet I thumbed through the pages and discovered a figrine of YEMAYA. Everytime I see the picture I think of 2 visions

    1 visiting oyotunji

2 Building a collage to honor YEMAYA

  • We hope to see you soon. Perhaps we could work on the Yemoja collage together. Did you find the video useful? Please pass it on.

  • amazing some of these pictures could have been taken in NAIJA self!!. this is what AA's should be doing to restore their lost dignity not fighting against it by denegrating Africa and mocking our names , languages and cultures and denying their ancestral roots..

  • Adupe pupo. Of course some of the pictures are taken at home. take a look close. Pass the word, Let everyone know Yoruba African Culture is Alive and well in America. We know where ever we plant our Ancestral roots; Veneration of our indigenous Deities and Ancestors, Respect for our Elders, Love, Nurturing and Guidance for Our Children, the Iroko cannot help but to grow. Anywhere we do this is Home.

  • i told you i would spread your word for you and i have .. lol!!
