I have a few charcoals, grays, fawns and whites in my aviary. They are a joy to watch and fascinating when they breed all different colors.

Our 4 Zebra finches turned into 28 during the Springtime. We gave a lot of them to our dear friends because they went crazy when they came to our house and wanted very much some tiny Zebra Finches of their own. =8-D

My Female and my male zebra finches are living already 4/5 years they layed really many times eggs and they hatched now they are feeding their 5 baby finches what already can fly, but still can't eat, and they have got already 6 eggs again ;D they are so happy

they are absolutely beautiful, im still trying to get some but I cant find any near my area and I had birds shipped to me once, I was very nervous about it but all the zebra finches came to me healthy......I would love some if you ship :)

zHi,If you know about them more i have a question would appreciate if u can help me...

I just got 2 from my friend but both are males, the cage is 20 inches high and 18 wide. Would it be a small place for them if i buy two more female.... is that possible to keep them like that and would they breed or fight??

The males would probably fight and the females tend to be more dominant and bully the males so one male at least would probably get pushed out and die and the others would prob fight too so I would leave them if i was you and get a male and female next time. I had a male and female but I wouldn't put any more in now they are used to not being bullied haha...

My beloved white zebra finch died almost a year ago because I forgot to put food in the cage. Finches are so precious. I still have one left and he has become my little buddy. The cage is next to my desk where I work all day, most days. He likes to listen to your birds on Youtube.

Izzy bird - the nice people on Youtube say hi!! Say hi Izzy, say hi! ("beep beep") Okay, he says hi to everybody! He mourned for Geek for about twenty-four hours, then all he could think about was who gets Geek's cage? Who gets Geek's nest? Then he moved into Geek's space and I gave his cage back to the pet store. I had to separate them because they used to fight over the nest. Zebra finches can be ruthlessly cold and calculating.

1 week after his death we bough a new 1 they fought for 1 week and then became best friends :) but then 5 days after that :'( both of them died the new one was dead in the food place the other 1 in the ground

i just got my frst pair today from a lovely lady that I met at a petstore. They are beautiful. I went to her house and she is immaculate and her babies are well kept. She let me take the cage home. What a wonderful lady. I hope she realizes how happy she made me. I gave her some things for her trouble. She didn't want money. there still is some wnderful people in this world. I love them already. and they make the most lovely sound..

I plan on letting them mate ande make me a grandma again.

Wow! These birds are very pretty! How do you tell the difference between the sexes? How much do they cost?

The females have a lighter colored beak and the males it more neon and darker. Also most zebra finch males have orange cheeks and zebra patterned throats.
