Great quick solution! There are a lot of convoluted "solutions" out there. This is the only one you need. Thanks. And I won't stack other equipment on top of the Nano Pad anymore.

This thing has been a nagging thorn for a year or more. Pads never worked, but the vector pad did, but. Bought 500km away by air, in Bangkok from someone who I KNOW would give me an impossible chore to explain it to him. He nice, but adequate communication would just NOT be there. I tried this rather than throw it in the bin.... voila! It works.

And by the way I did the same thing with the x-y pad which was still bugging. You need to remove a few more things but it's the same idea. So don't hesitate because it works well! My hold function wasn't working and the the pad was like always activated at the bottom left corner. But it's not anymore!

Trellaux, thank you so much. I had stored my Nanopad with a Nanokey on top for a few months in the hot weather, and it was dead. I copied your procedure and within five minutes I had my Nanopad working like a new one.

Ok, who's willing to take this a step further? What I saw was an ability to make this thing ultra sensitive. Take away the rubber. You would need to alter the case as well so the plastic isn't in the way. I would do it but I just bought mine a few days ago and the nanopad2 hasn't arrived in the mail yet.

Great!!! It took five minutes thanks to the very clear instructions on you video. The pads are even more sensitive then they ever were. I had almost thrown them in the garbage a few months ago. You probably saved thousands of Nanopads from oblivion. Thanks a lot.

This saved all but two of two pads for me. Now 8 and 12 don't work at all and the others work flawlessly. I peeled it back a few times to get it to where it is and save a few each time. I'm thinking it may be the connection? That being said it all seems fine.
